    Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker
mouse I'll go back in to awaiting OV I think from today. Normally I would now be CD6 and have finished AF.

Had a chat with DH last night about what the Dr had said, had a weepy moment :( but feeling much better today after a good nights sleep. I did ask him whether he wanted us to have a go with OPK's this month or just get on with BD'ing every other day. We are going to do the latter but he has agreed we could OPK next month if no luck. So I may be asking for some words of wisdom as never used them before.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I'm very lucky as I have a midwife in the family so I told her the news and explained about the spotting and cramping. She advised that it may well be implantation bleeding but just to keep eye on it if it gets any heavier. I'm going to wait until Friday as on Friday it will be 'cd28' and take another test and then ring he gp.

Hey sorry to jump back in but this page was loaded on my phone and I saw newthrifts post. When I had AF just not turn up I spoke to docs too and basically if you definitely ovulated AF pretty much has to turn up - so if it doesn't and your not pregnant then you almost certainly didn't ovulate. I assume you don't temp to be sure?

It can mean though that ov could be any time - I stopped tracking and ended up having AF after 73 days, so may have ov'd around day 59 but AF was really light so doc said it may just not have happened at all that "cycle"

Anyway, all I'm saying is unfortunately it doesn't mean cycle days will act normally - clarabell aren't you on some crazy high number now? And I know another lady had around 120 days last year. Just seems to be our bodies being super frustrating.

So conclusion after this ramble - you may not know when to expect ov or AF so opks may not be a bad idea x

Afm, CD25, AF due Friday. Had started to feel a bit of PMS, but has kinda disappeared today. Trying not to get my hopes up too much, not sure I could handle the disappointment. Although tbh, PMS has been so horrendous the last few months that AF PMS-free would be a welcome change. Had a hot stone massage this afternoon & I have to tell you ladies, I feel like a new person :D The therapist was amazing, she managed to get rid of all my knots & tension (and trust me, there were a lot!!!) It was kinda a wake up call to how stressed I've been, & reminded me that I need to take better care of myself.

Similar to me Angel. AF due Friday or certainly at the weekend (my cycles range between 27-29). I just don't think I can take the disappointment this month so I'm very nervous.

Going to try and get bloods next week if AF arrives but may find it difficult to book in on the day I need (CD3 I believe?). With AF due at the weekend, the surgery will be closed and so I will have to wait to see what appts are there on Monday and I can't really take an appt in the middle of the day without taking a day off work - not possible TBH. Feel a bit powerless at the minute.

Hi Rachylou - I don't know if its possible where you are, but could you ask your doctor to give you a referral form for the blood tests that you can then do at a drop in phlebotomy clinic? Where I am, there are some drop in clinics (at NHS walk in centres) and at most hospitals as well. I'd ask your GP to give you forms for CD3 and also for Day 21 as well, just in case.
Hoping AF doesn't arrive and you don't need this, but it may be worth a call to your GP, just to be armed with the info :)

Definitely worth a shot - I work in the NHS so could be on to a plan. Thanks Keekee :T

Hope you manage to get something sorted rachylou!

AF due today but I have none of the usual symptoms...but then I have no symptoms of any kind so it's probably just going to be a longer cycle.

Found out last night that hubby's cousin and his girlf are expecting...they are both 21 and are gutted. They have loads of clubbing holidays planned this year that they'll now have to cancel. Surprisingly I wasn't upset at all when we found out...we just laughed and thought - yet another accident when some others are trying so hard! His uncle was absolutely delighted and excited though and it was infectious so it was impossible not to get swept up in that!

Congrats to all that have caught this month.
I had convinced myself that this would be out month after my 'OV pains' and 'implantation bleeding' but AF is now 4 days late, I've tested twice and got a BFN both times. I honestly feel pregnant and I don't know what to do!!

Yeh cats I am on CD85! :( just had my initial acupuncture consultation and first session tonight and feeling a bit more positive.

She advised I have a hormone imbalance and possibly a vitamin B deficiency. As a guide she has said it could take up to 3 months for the imbalance to be corrected but could be much sooner and she has had a high success rate as she specialises in fertility acupuncture.

Next appointment next Thursday after I have my bloods done again, will feel like a pin cushion!:rotfl:
