Depends on how many people they carry, four complaints out of potentially thousands is a pretty good complaint rate.

And that maybe another four families that can't remember their luggage and then try to get someone else to reimburse them for their own carelessness.

You don't really need a lot when you travel, passports, cash, medicine and not a lot else, you can buy studff when you get there so could have left all your luggage apart from that one bag.
  • It was the Travel agents That questioned the hire company obligation to meet their criteria in that respect. As it is their reputation that is on the line aswell a can easily say.

On here for advice not for a exam on grammar and spelling, stick to the post and the query that I am trying to get advice for instead off going off subject and point scoring it would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

they state a 24 hour service yet fail to fulfill that promise hence phoning and no one answering their phone in the early hours of the morning
You didn't mention this earlier - there is a big difference between a 24 hour service as in "we'll agree to collect you at (say) 4am" and "we'll man our offices 24 hours a day"!

    Who was the company ?

Contact the bank about it but I don't like your chances.

Can you clarify the 24 hour thing, are the phones manned 24 hours a day or a 24 hour pickup/drpoff.
  • Transparency from the hire company is needed on what exactly is the 24hr service they offer
  • Please note I have a 3 and1/2 year daughter running about at my feet most of the day so I know I am a bit vague in some areas in my posts, hard to type and entertain at the same time

which happen to be the most important bag (passports etc etc).
I noticed very quickly it was gone and tried phoning the company as am sure the minibus was still in the airport grounds but to no prevail, we as a family of five had to miss our flight, purchase new tickets for the next day[/I

If your passports were in the bag how were you able to travel the next day?
  • Soz I had to travel back home to pick up the bag as the private hire company dropped it off at my house

Travel agent don't appear to be reliable in that case.

You were the one that corrected an irrelevant part of a post that was riddled with other errors.

You can try chargeback, section 75, court or whatever, you are the one responsible for what happened and you're not going to get the taxi firm to pay for it.

It's possible that travel insurance might cover it but I would doubt it.

You've had people's opinions which wholly disagree with your view, look at your travel insurance as the only possibility, however unlikely.
