You are spot on. The seller was advised by FedEx to make a claim for a lost/stolen parcel, but they have not refunded me, nor advised me, nor have they told eBay anything. When i told resolutions the seller was advised by FedEx to make a claim for lost or stolen parcel he said he would message the seller immediately and ask for confirmation from FedEx.

This is a bad seller, deserves a negative, i won't be the first to neg them either.

But you won't be able to neg them. Stop thinking on that line and work out how to keep your seller onside to get your money back, you really DO need their help.

Hopefully you will win the appeal. You need to continue to hassle eBay with the simplified version - they are foreign and don't understand - so keep letting them know the parcel was delivered, but to someone else.

    They might just get it.

In the meantime, as I've said above, you need to keep the seller onside, if this appeal fails, you need the seller to claim from Fedex and then refund you.

Alright then i will keep at ebay. Giving up on this call back as its now 3 hours 34 minutes and hearing the same message and music over and over is sending my sanity somewhere else.

What did the Police say after their visit last Wednesday?

Normally they would just suggest you file a report online with Action Fraud, I was a little surprised to read that they were attending to take a statement.

Is this not a question of theft rather than fraud? I know there is an overlap between the two in many cases.

Update = got a full refund, but i can tell everyone it was hard to do, as eBay support on the appeals team are all foreign, and they "don't understand", be prepared to go through your story 7 or 8 times to get the basics straight with them.

All done, now looking for another tent. And was not able to neg the seller, all it says now is "unpaid items" on those listings. I do not know whether eBay have taken the cash from the seller or not, but i hope they have.

Your original loss of the case removed your right to feedback, but as you have won the appeal, there is a way to leave it, although not obvious.

All cases are dealt with by Manila.

What is the way to leave feedback? I see no way to do so.
