as I understand it, the taxpayer will fund two leaflets nearer the referendum date one from each side: this one is an additional one giving the government's view : so not equal funding but 2 to 10 -

It's crazy for a govt. to say "We're going to let the people decide" and then do everything in their power to promote one option whilst hindering the chances of the other in every way possible.

The Government is not neutral in this matter.
They have examined the options and taken a position that Remaining in the EU is firmly in the UK's National Interest and therefore this is now government policy.
It is only right that they should now actively try to ensure that their policy choice can be implemented. That is after all the entire point of a government.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

Under labour there wouldn't even be a vote so a pro EU government that offers a vote is a good outcome isn't it (for those wanting to leave)
I got some junk mail about holiday property bonds today. I didn't rush out and buy some.
Leave should not be concerned with this if their arguments are sound
Perhaps a pro leaver could critique the document rather than the process?Left is never right but I always am.0 -
