    Snap, I've just seen your post sweetheart. As far as I remember there are several areas of Surrey covered by Dial a Rude. They are a brilliant service and I'm sure that this will fit the bill nicely to get dad and mum out together.

    I'm with perky about the ramp, maybe Age Concern or similar can point you in the right direction of getting a reliable local builder to do the job.

    It seems that the time is coming of 'role reversal' here. It us very hard indeed to think of a parent now looking at you as a child. Does that make sense? I remember when I took mum to shop one day, as we walked through the front door I felt a hand slip into mine. As I turned and looked at mum she gave a little shrug of the shoulders and a smile. That was the day that in dawned on me that she was now the child and I the parent.

    Get you still in short pants :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Quiet night for me, so I'll say bye until tomorrow xx

    Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

    Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

    We know :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Although in truth they tend to be noisier when there is a few of them.

    Yes and does not help with 2 yappy dogs as the parrots mimick the dogs, cant tell who is who sometimes:rotfl:

    Hope she is OK Nanny, I have heard of this myself but not known anyone with it, will keep fingers crossed it is not serious xx

    Please keep it there, I know you're not far from us at the moment but I also know there is a hill in the way so hopefully these very dark clouds will not give us snow:eek:

    Now, I am about to upset some people but we are struggling. We want to get a parrot and are struggling to find a breeder. We thought we had found one locally but are now suspicious as he says he does not keep the birds at home to avoid theft, and we would have to order one and either pick it up from him or have it delivered. We are not happy with that idea, we want to see the bird and the parents first. I think I have exhausted the online information.

    E don't laugh but, what about contacting the vets, they may know of a breeder, or try Parrot rescue. Failing that I'm afraid you're going to have to travel out of you're area.
    I hope you manage to find a reputable breeder soon X
