I am amazed you have a window in the larder  Is Mr TS going to put blackout blinds on it?

I cringe at the thought of new plaster, where we had to do some terminations in a block of flats the back boxes were so deep in the (newly plastered) walls that even the long screws would not reach one of them. You really do not want to know how we solved that one, just hope the person that buys the flat never looks inside the box :rotfl::rotfl:

We spend most of our time telling people that we really need to be in before plastering/painting for installations in new builds or renovations.

We had one time where someone had the place entirely redecorated and suddenly realised they needed phone sockets. They wanted all the cables hidden so an hour's job took a day because we had to take the cable under the floor and hook it up behind (freshly painted) skirting boards. They then asked if we could put an extension in a concrete floored and ceramic tiled almost entirely glass walled conservatory, with no cables showing. We politely declined :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Yes he is going to have a black out blind. If anything happened to Mr TS I would have the partition wall taken down anyway and reclaim it as kitchen so didn't want to lose the window. :o

It only gets the sun for a very short time first thing in the morning. We did bounce the idea around putting back a smaller window like the house would have had originally. Although we didn't make it bigger the people before did. But having this type of storage room is not the norm people usually want more open space so it made sense to leave it if ever we sold too.

This larder is a real compromise for me didn't want it at all a nice large chest freezer could have sat along the back wall. ;)

I'm lost with groups here there and everywhere, I left all of them a good while ago and I'm only back here. I have no idea what the arguing is about and hope that I am not contributing to any of it by being back here.

Edited to say if there is a toilet roll glitch ( I am that thick that I didn't realise that was what all the funny new usernames were about last night) it would be useful as I need it after the pallaver at the cs desk.

I can answer this question .....feel a tenner lottery winner :j:j

No you are not contributing to any thing by being back here :j:j

I can go to bed now I have answered a question correctly

I wouldn't normally be one to try to have the last word and probably shouldn't post this, but.........

    Guess the elite character..;)

It is a fact that the group who should not be mentioned actually enjoys the banter and chat with 99% of the elite so I'm sure most of you will guess the answers very quickly.

Well that's me back on the radar, lol, didn't listen to advice properly and went on ss with the conveyor. Did 2 small shops with a coupon under £10 for each and it asked for authorisation both times. The second time something went when they authorised it and it had to be suspended and dealt with at the customer service desk.

Will avoid that store for a few days/weeks/months but should make a few of you smile.

    Evening All,

    Im so very disappointed.

Last night i asked for advice from you all and i received nowt not even an acknowledgement.

Some of us like myself whether dont have the knowledge or are limited by other means to make sense of glitches offers ect.
(like myself) and so as beginners as for guidance from you "the elite"

The least that can be done is to point someone in the right direction.

So im saying this for all the lurkers 7 others who perhaps feel like me.

I dont think "you guys" realise how hard it is to integrate and become involved in the group.

Its so very clique (despite the arguments which are btw ridiculous)

It doesnt cost anything to be "nice"
    life is too short.

and yes i understand there are trolls and those who are not community minded and will help back with offers ect.
But to set out with the mind set of not being helpful to anyone is well rude.

    So ive said it

if anyone else feels the same do chip in!

This isnt said to provoke an argument.
    If im wrong im wrong.

    Soap Box moment over.

    Back to lurking :silenced:

As bubbs said ellzx....Think maybe your post was lost in last nights nonsense..Ask again and I am sure you will be answered...

Yeah I had problems on the conveyor - I wasn't sure if it was something I had done as I know some people use them without issues, but it was enough to put me off.

    Which store was it? Duff?

So not just me then :). I don't believe I am using the same stores as you two - some SS conveyors do seem to have issues but work most of the time.

Evening I'm confused what does nikda mean and the other one bw something, are there two separate sides in here or something, I tend to miss reading the night shift so have never seen this sort of thing and I just don't get it. Don't want to cause anymore disagreement but would just help me understand what's going on. I'm grateful to anyone who posts and finds glitches and I don't care what extreme other people take it to each to their own and they only have to live with their own conscience x

Just be grateful that you are confused ! Trust me, the less clarity you have on some of this codswallop the happier you will be. Speed read over some of it and ignore anything that looks contentious and concentrate on the happy chat and the bargains. I don't understand the various factions and arguments and I'm perishing glad I'm thick !

The 9 rolls of Regina (pronounced regeeeeeeena in my house :) is on offer at £2 in wilko...halfprice. It is really good. I have posted this recently, I do not have shares in wilko, but thought posting again might be helpful.
