Thank you, I actually bought some on your recommendation last weekend and I can confirm, it is very good. Thanks again. X
Ahh, you are most welcome. It goes on offer quite regularly ,so if you get a big enough stash when on offer, you will never have to pay full price for loo rolls ever again.

Looking good TS....I have my units in place so I don't need to tile all the way underneath...If I had to it would be about 35m2....Will you have coving.....How many downlights have you got... make sure you put led lamps in them...not the GU10s...I have 71 downlights with LED lamps fitted in the house...total wattage...284watts...With the 50 Watt gu10s it would have been...3,550watts..:eek:...The lamps are a little bit more expensive..but the saving and the fact they have a 3 year guarantee on them is worth it.....
How will they be doing the floor...are they using a self levelling compound on it ...

Thanks marmite, we are going to be brave and give it a go without coving. :o We took the old coving down and there were gaps.

Yes they are LEDs, there are 11 and one in the new larder. The old larder still has old light switch I think but new light fitting just normal one though. We were told today they have 10 year guarantee that will be on the invoice when I get it. :money:

Will have a nosey tomorrow what sort they are as he put the boxes in the recycling earlier.

Tiler is reassessing on mon/tues now it is empty, plasterers were still working yesterday so he couldn't see all the floor properly. He said latex? I have never had tiled floor before so don't know much about it. He said in old larder where stone step was taken out and floor was quite a bit lower he will put insulation board and latex on top. Mr TS seems happy with that.

You might be number 7 too wacky, well you are old enough to qualify after all..:rotfl:

I am surprised that you want to admit to needing Canesten on a public forum though. I know you aren't getting any younger, but do you really need to tell us all about it..:rotfl::rotfl:

Don't actually know what number 7 is as I have a thick head as well as thick skin.
Good job really or you may have hurt my feelings. :p

    Thanks Louise..x

Shopping, pub lunch and sleepover with 3 friends on Saturday, loads of presents and then another shopping trip, this time to Bloomingdales in New York next month.

    You?

Bloomingdales you need a week just for that shop

I had afternoon tea at the Waldorph Astoria New York

After watching the Scent of a Woman many years ago I promised myself I would go there and have afternoon tea and I did

I bought my dgd a piece of jewelry from there and the sales assistant was being very helpful but she kept asking me what she liked and I said pepper pig and In The Night Garden ..SHE IS ONLY TWO .... she will get it when she is 18 or on her prom night

I WILL TRY AND RACK MY BRAIN ...as I cant remember if it was Bloomingdales or Maceys that if you buy a little red pin you get 10 per cent off everything in store. ...its a donation to war vets I think
Someone on here might know more than I can remember ...I will still have the red pin in the loft if no one else can throw any more light on the subject
