This is where I am going to lock Mr TS. :rotfl:

    The new larder. ;)

    IMG_0728.jpg

Reason why we had to have glass back door as light from this window will be lost once door is on. :(

It is my compromise I really didn't want to lose the space this used to be where my kitchen units and work tops were one side and cooker the other.

I am amazed you have a window in the larder  Is Mr TS going to put blackout blinds on it?

I cringe at the thought of new plaster, where we had to do some terminations in a block of flats the back boxes were so deep in the (newly plastered) walls that even the long screws would not reach one of them. You really do not want to know how we solved that one, just hope the person that buys the flat never looks inside the box :rotfl::rotfl:

We spend most of our time telling people that we really need to be in before plastering/painting for installations in new builds or renovations.

We had one time where someone had the place entirely redecorated and suddenly realised they needed phone sockets. They wanted all the cables hidden so an hour's job took a day because we had to take the cable under the floor and hook it up behind (freshly painted) skirting boards. They then asked if we could put an extension in a concrete floored and ceramic tiled almost entirely glass walled conservatory, with no cables showing. We politely declined :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Evening All,

    Im so very disappointed.

Last night i asked for advice from you all and i received nowt not even an acknowledgement.

Some of us like myself whether dont have the knowledge or are limited by other means to make sense of glitches offers ect.
(like myself) and so as beginners as for guidance from you "the elite"

The least that can be done is to point someone in the right direction.

So im saying this for all the lurkers 7 others who perhaps feel like me.

I dont think "you guys" realise how hard it is to integrate and become involved in the group.

Its so very clique (despite the arguments which are btw ridiculous)

It doesnt cost anything to be "nice"
    life is too short.

and yes i understand there are trolls and those who are not community minded and will help back with offers ect.
But to set out with the mind set of not being helpful to anyone is well rude.

    So ive said it

if anyone else feels the same do chip in!

This isnt said to provoke an argument.
    If im wrong im wrong.

    Soap Box moment over.

    Back to lurking :silenced:

I hear what you are saying but if you choose to be a lurker then you have to learn to make sense of it all in lurkdom

...as people on here are often too busy fighting to offer any help :rotfl:

No sorry joking aside it is hard to come new to a group but like everything in life you have to put the work in to get to know the group

and benefit from there help and then if you are not as senile as me you can then help other newbies and lurkers ..

..I donate very little to this thread but if I can answer a simple question ...I feel like I have won the lottery ...just a tenner win not the jackpot

I joined this site a few years ago before joining back up and left as I could not seem to join in and I tend to read more than type

But it is a friendly thread and people do try to help ...maybe last night wasn't a good night to be asking questions ...as something happened don't know what as it was deleted I think

Maybe try dropping in more often :)
