The 31p ones I found, were a 12 pack of 4 animals, 12 pack of big purple and pink flowers with yellow centres and the 24 pack I used on that cake containing 12 yellow flowers/12 pink flowers. Just checked and they don't state the weight on them. Still a cracking price though considering they go out of date in June 2018
You can't tell, from the descriptions on my list, which one is which. However, some of these products are on msm.
Looking on there, the 12 pack of animals is "Morrisons Animal Sugar Decorations (12)" - this shows, according to the picture, the Jungle Buddies version (I suspect I should alter my list to say "Morrisons Animal Sugar Decorations (12)" as the items on my list, it appears, came from a time before they went onto msm but are now on there and should be altered to be consistent with that site which I use). These products have gone down from 33p to 31p according to my list and not the 72% reduction that msm shows. Unless there are different versions kicking around:rotfl: - and if the "Jungle Buddies" I had earlier is not the same "Jungle Buddies" as exists now - I should of course have got the BC for every item so that I could check to see if they now have a different BC on this! Of course, with different stores and only finding the products in some of them before, I could not take BCs of every item as that would be practically impossible to do. Maybe I am wrong and these are different products to the ones at 33p before:rotfl::rotfl:. I just never know what is happening in M.
"Purple and pink... with yellow centres." Is, strangely enough, "Morrisons Pink & Purple Sugar Decorations (12)" as described on msm, which appears to be Pastel Blooms.
So, just got Choco Fancies and Spring Flowers now. It's looks like it's matching up as I've got the "24g" one there (probably not 24g but 24 per pack).
Spring Flowers - looks yellow and pink(-ish) to me on msm. So, that's that one!
That leaves M's Choco Fancies which do not appear to be on msm but, according to my list - and I'm sure it must be right if I've said that - "M Choco Fancies Sugar Decorations (15g)" (maybe 15g) are 31p. I've no idea whether they are or are not now. I can't remember - I get so much now that I have lost track as far as remembering items like this is concerned. So many different versions (actually only four here) that I don't remember them!:rotfl: However, as I have altered my list, from the information I have clearly got written down somewhere - even though it is now not currently to hand - then what is now on there, in this regard, must be correct.
That is what I believe that M has at those prices. I've only quoted the own brand ones - I have a further three (Cake Angels) products on my list. Fwiw, I've seen the Cake Angels ones - all three versions each time - in four different stores in the last few days (one of which was Stoke on Wednesday) - and I'm sure at least two, probably all three, of the three stores I was in on Wednesday also stocked them but I had already accounted for them in one of them (Stoke), and was satisfied with their SEL, so didn't need to look for them again in another store on the same day.
Details of a specific store and what was picked up in it - not relevant to mention really, but I did anyway...:rotfl::rotfl:
They had the 27p shampoo/conditioner there too - I overheard a staff member mentioning that they had been sent 10 of each and weren't getting any more. I actually bought:eek:(:rotfl:) three of the shampoo but they are nice - we don't really use conditioner:doh: - and got enough HE conditioner anyway if need be - so there won't be many left! I don't know if they are in my local stores - I didn't need to look for them having found them in Stoke.
Just be luck as to whether they are in your M. And - just like me - if you have a number of Ms and go in the wrong direction to one rather than the other - could have had the product at the other but be totally sold out and SELs have gone by the time you visit there having gone instead to the other store and not found them as they weren't getting stock (or stock only arrives there tomorrow and you went today:doh:). I think that may be the situation - it feels like that to me with chasing M's items (trying to find, in theory, everything) - just luck sometimes if you come across some products. Thank goodness I found that store with the 10p on the shelf but no stock for the Triple Chocolate assortment! I have not seen any evidence of it in that store ever since - but only by the chance of going there (had I gone another instead I would never have known and then visiting the one I did the SEL may have been removed by the time I got there and would never have known about the product at all) - I became aware of the product at 10p and managed to purchase it, with no SEL or incorrect high price SELs, from other stores. Just a pure chance find I feel that was.
Has anyone had any success in finding stock of the normally higher priced 10p items or is it just me?:rotfl: But, even if you didn't find anything a week ago, don't give up - next time you are there, one of them (if really really lucky maybe more) may suddenly turn up! My local store - and, all of a sudden, the McVities Deli Choc Dark on the RTC shelf! Just a single pack in a random place, no SEL, as if no-one knew it was 10p:rotfl::T:T. Like I said, I've visited that particular one of my local stores three times in the past week and not found anything there before! They must just have had it somewhere in the store (or just had it in the back and brought it out at this random time) - I turned over all the Milk Chocolate version stock (that were not RTC price) on both my previous visits and didn't find that Dark Chocolate 10p pack. I've pulled out all the Cadbury Brunches to see if there are any Tracker White bars behind - so far no luck on that! And, as a good boy, put them all back:D. So, I may stumble across it, all of a sudden, probably straight out - winking at me from the front of the shelf - and, if I do, it'll just make me have a chuckle.:)
The Deli Chocolate Dark didn't actually wink, but those Biscuits Assortments earlier did:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:!
(I was actually looking for whether there was anything else good on the RTC shelf - found the 3x80g tuna, mispriced, there - I hadn't thought about the 10p biscuits as I'd already got most of them but this one was elusive - I'd more or less already stopped looking - don't need to - already known to have been 10p before, I don't need to account for every item that I suspect I won't find in my M but which I 'know' will be in M somewhere - and there it was, the Dark Chocolate.)0 -
I also saw, on an RTC in the health and beauty area of another M, lots of sun creams/gift sets - none of them good price unfortunately - and then, totally random, a Belvita Biscuits pack! For a moment, my heart stopped and I turned it over... and, :(sadly not the Forest Fruit but another version just left.
:rotfl:No good!
I thought I had it there for a brief moment, but no!:D0 -
Just looking at a few of my receipts and, whilst I am spending money, these are very cheap prices on them:D.
I ought to mention, on something else from M (where else with me?:D), the KP Crisps Variety Pack. I think bubbs brought it over from hotdeals at £2.75:rotfl:. It is now £2 in M (...but will it go cheaper?).
This is a 30 pack. However, it is really only a 20 pack since the Skips and Space Raiders are half-size bags:p:rotfl:. 10 Skips, 10 Space Raiders. Plus 10 Hula Hoops (24g as opposed to previous 26g, so ten of those have lost another 20g - almost a full pack:eek: - so, only 9 bags now:rotfl: - now a 19 pack!).
£2.00 divided by 19 (on my contention:D) multiplied by 6 = ... a little over 63p:eek:. It's alright. Even if guide price for 6 is 50p or even 35p:rotfl:. Paying nearly twice as much - way to go!:rotfl::D
However, at least with the number of actual bags (30), they will only consume one bag at a time won't they so they will last?:):):D:(:rotfl::mad::mad::rotfl::rotfl: (...We can live in hope!:D)0 -
Famous last words (meaning that I will probably be wrong on both counts) - I can see the Princes Pink Salmon (we know which one) working on the APG in a couple of days' time, but not the Princes Red Salmon. I have the impression that the Red Salmon is not widespread. However, it depends on which stores they visit. I think they will encounter a random situation from the stores they visit, just like I encountered a different random situation (whether the same result as the APG collectors in total, i.e. all of their selected stores combined to form the price that the APG gets, or different one). It just depends what's sold out in what Ms, what SELs are there or not in the ones they use and what the APG collectors see.
The Princes Pink Salmon seems consistent for me at 40p, and there is stock in all my stores. But - had I gone to an additional one - maybe I would have no stock or maybe all four (then) would have had stock. I have no trace of the Red Salmon, but twice as many stores: could that give one hit of 50p? And not two hits of old SEL £1 that could outweigh it (with N/A in maybe three stores)? I think a likely position is 6 stores - complete no trace in 4 of them. Don't know about the other two - maybe one, maybe not. However, my thought of no trace of 4 is based more on the position earlier, when I was going out to more stores - and, now, some days on - and after weekend shoppers in M last weekend - the product has been clearly diminishing there for me and vanishing without trace entirely from several stores - my possible from 6, 4 will probably be no trace could be an under-estimate.
If however lots of you on here using different Ms have Red Salmon in your stores (or SELs for it and not been OOS in those stores for more than 7 days), then maybe the impression I have is wrong. For me on Monday, SELs were vanishing and now, on Wednesday, have vanished. There's no stock of the product in the Ms I've picked (at random) on Wednesday - and I think any stores with stock and no SEL are useless for price collection services, as they won't be able to obtain a price. I think if stores have stock though they are perhaps more likely to have a SEL. However, if they have got lots of stock, it may be an unchanged SEL of much higher price (good for us if shopping there, as we know the true price, but not any good help for the APG price - if they get too many stores like that - bang, APG returns full price M:(.
The situation is slightly in our favour though - but only slightly - as, in theory, it takes an extra store to overturn a lower price. If they get equal numbers of both 50p and a specific higher price, they should put 50p into the APG. If however the higher prices vary - maybe some stores have full price and didn't show the RTC in the first place and others have last week's £1 and hadn't changed to 50p at the time the APG collectors had visited (which could be early in the day, before the SEL was changed to 50p) - varying higher prices might increase likelihood of a 50p for the APG. For example, could be 50p in three (that will be fluke luck though IMO!) and £1 in two and for sake of argument £3.50 in one. 50p is found in the most: APG gets 50p. I think it unlikely that many more stores will have 50p SEL though (even though someone on here has that situation in their M). I think it more likely stores will be totally OOS and have no SEL at all. So, more likely to be N/A. This is just from what I've seen though. Maybe I'd have more confidence if I had seen a store that had 50p SEL. My result: three Ms, complete no trace.
Of course, I know about the product and its price (that I, at first, presumed) from my own previous knowledge - but APG collectors won't be able to do that. In normal times - i.e. if I had a no trace like I have got, with the product outstanding from already being on my list from last time (at £1 when I did pick it up) - I would have gone onto a fourth store and then if I am still finding nothing, I'd have said M no longer had the product. Clearly that is not the case - as reported by Cymbran! However, this was when I used to think that, if a product was no longer in any of my own stores, that M no longer had it at all - and used to delete items, unknowingly, on that basis from my list all the time. I have moved on from thinking that now and, under my new approach, I pick up the product at the correct price without even seeing any evidence of it:D. However, APG collectors I think won't be able to make a surmise like I did if they have no trace in their Ms. They also won't be able to move on to further stores like I could. I think they would have a team that would remain in whichever store they were in.
Regarding the Pink Salmon, my impression (but again it could always be wrong as I do get incorrect impressions sometimes from a small number of stores) is that this product is generally available in M on Wednesday. I have stock everywhere. Not literally:rotfl:, but just there is stock and correct SELs for me in all my 3 stores. The Pink Salmon is widespread in M (famous last words). However, this is an impression gained from a very small number of stores, which might not be representative of the overall true position across M (which I think is impossible for anyone, except possibly outside M stock control to know, and possibly even they wouldn't know). I think if someone in GB who has an A and doesn't have any M near them (or maybe goes later this week and finds no stock in their only M) buys one in A and sees if it works...? It is currently £1.25 in A which in normal times previously wouldn't have been too bad.
And as for it comparing on TBG... It is RTC in M and should not. If however TBG (which I understand checks later today - and this may help us!) has trace of it only in one store (out of their 3) and that store does not have RTC marked on its SEL...
As usual, you'd need to wait until the system was updated though and this won't be immediately.
I know this will disappoint some. I know that some people will want Red Salmon as it is more desirable and has a higher value attributed to it. It rarely goes on such low prices. However, unfortunately this is also the precise same reason why it has probably sold out from M more and potentially leaving no trace for the APG. (Nonetheless, I may be wrong: you could try the Red Salmon and it might work or might have worked.)0 -
I'll do the update of the M list later. I think I'll put the Red Salmon on both Avs M and buy in M:rotfl:. I'll put it on Avs M with a note about "unlikely" (but then unlikely things do happen) and on buy in M (which I suspect so few will be able to do:() as really I would buy it in M rather than risk it on the APG. If only I could buy it in M:rotfl: - I can find it nowhere! (I haven't visited enough stores in the last day:D.)
In fact it is of course already on Avs M. I will put its M price down. I will add it to buy in M because, in A, I think it is such a risk.
The Pink Salmon is a different situation I think. I think someone should try one Pink Salmon for us in A (wait until at least Friday night though - to ensure system is updated, unless we know it has been updated at some sooner point).:)
It won't be me, as I may be out on Friday trying to get (fwiw!) a better view of the possible situation in M.
EDIT: On msm (totally totally irrelevant!), :rotfl:it isn't even in M let alone with a price and OOS! How would we ever ever know if we looked at that website?:D:rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Mind you, three quid in the scheme of things (A is £3.50 on the Red Salmon, M is 50p) isn't much to lose! Someone, maybe buying a shop with a womble in the first place, could in effect just write it off as it just takes another womble to be picked up to get that £3 back probably relatively easily.:) Especially from weekend shoppers who overpay too much:D. And who knows - maybe one of them will buy us the Red Salmon and for it to work?:rotfl::rotfl: That one would be a real unlikely fluke - and best of luck finding a womble like that:). If someone wants to offer themselves up, so that we don't buy one each and all potentially waste £3...
It needs to be waited on to ensure we are on Wednesday's info. first. For some people, even if say it returned £1 for M (I somehow reckon N/A:(), it would at 90p net still not be that bad for many people whom, I suspect, can't physically buy it in M.:)0 -
The Mackerel Fillets tins - my view - N/A on them all, in most stores. I was lucky to find a single tin in one of my stores - and that was all I found in any of them - and there was no SEL at all so my store, I think, if it had been an APG store, would have been useless. The other two, if they were APG stores, would be hopeless too as they give complete no trace.
The Pilchards - I wasn't even aware of any Pilchards in M:rotfl:.
Tuna, Mayonnaise & Sweetcorn: I have picked up 25p in one store. Nothing in the other two, including nothing in the one that had 50p last time. (I didn't check, on Monday, the store that now has the 25p - this probably suggests both stores, that one and the one with 50p last time, had 50p last time (Monday).) On my Wednesday stores, therefore, I am picking up the correct price and it would be good to go on the next update - if only I did the APG data. However, they visit, I think, twice as many stores I did on Wednesday - add more stores and you could get conflicting information. Could find one with old £1 - or more with old £1 and get £1 as the data. Could have 25p, 50p and £1 and three N/A and get 25p as the lowest price (no common price, therefore pick lowest).
I have had a couple of stores with unchanged £1 SEL on this product. One was marked with a cross on the SEL, seemingly aware of the fact the SEL is wrong and that cross probably now I think means "we should change this SEL". However, I see crosses on SELs and they persist for weeks, and sometimes months, unchanged. Indeed, rarely do I see them changed at all (in stores I revisit). These SELs are no use from APG point of view (although they help keep the stock in the stores for us if buying from M:T:T - and, then, contradictorily, the higher the price showing the better as means stock is even more likely to be plentiful). Incorrect SELs just increase the chance of APG (and TBG where applicable and if it is not saying RTC) getting higher M price than really applies.
Perhaps my 25p store (on the Tuna Mayonnaise) was a rare one that still had stock left over? This might mean that it is less likely for APG to find such a store and therefore may go N/A (or may go £1 if they find it only in £1 stores and don't have a 25p one like the one I happened to find). There was almost no stock left in my "25p" SEL store. I therefore think you will be very lucky indeed if you can now find the product in M in such a store - and, by today, one day later, they might all be gone from such a store and the SEL now, today, no longer there so you would never know - if you visited there only today - that the store had ever stocked the product at all in the first place. TBH, the pink salmon at 40p in M didn't seem to be attracting that much interest - although that may be a wrong impression. If it is correct though, you might still find stock of that in a 40p-SEL store (which, for me, they all seem to be). However, I think the weekend shoppers, by the end of the weekend, will likely buy it out.
Hot Dogs - I think not. No stock or evidence of any SELs now in any store that was 25p last week. I think these may have worked last weekend, but not now or in the future. There are at least a couple of Ms with unchanged £1 SEL on at least one version. There is stock only in these Ms (I've found). In fact, I reckon there are far more than "a couple" with unchanged SELs. 2 out of about 18. Over 500 stores. It's possibly about 55 Ms in which there remains stock (and there is significant stock in these sorts of Ms but, seemingly, no others - unless there is a tin or a few on an RTC shelf somewhere with no price showing).0 -
I am still making a surmise of my own on the Milk Chocolate Continentals in M. I assume someone has them somewhere (even if you are really lucky as your M is unlikely)? Are they now 10p? I am assuming so on the basis of the Dark Continentals. Yet the White Chocolate Tracker went to 10p but the Chocolate Chip has not. I now no longer have the Dark Continentals (as of Wednesday from three stores). However, I assume that they will continue to be available at 10p somewhere. Probably unmarked on an RTC shelf - no price displayed or instead displaying higher than real price. Be careful and make sure you scan the BC on the packets and not any whoopsie-like BC sticker that may have been put onto the pack - as that may scan at a higher price than the product actually is! HTH. (I do not know - I assume it would. I have seen 89p reduced label on another product and rather than scan that, as I knew the product was generally 10p, I scanned the original BC. The pack of Dark Deli Chocolate I have now found, with the reduced-like BC, did not have any price at all marked on the pack. I still scanned the original BC underneath as I knew the product to be 10p and wasn't going to pay anything else. I do not know what the product would have scanned at if I had scanned the other BC - hopefully not 5p:rotfl:.)
I assume the McVities Breakfast with Oats are also 10p somewhere. Again, unmarked with no price on shelf, on RTC shelf in similar way or with unchanged SELs somewhere. M will not be completely OOS - they never are! - but they will be hard to find in any store picked at random now. They will be easy to find* in the store that has them, but I don't know where that will be so they are hard to find from this POV. I am keeping all the 10p items on my list - as 'buys in M'. They will all be available somewhere (different 'somewheres' for each). As for me finding them on Wednesday? No trace!:rotfl: (Not personally needed - bought all I needed before:cool:.)
*Maybe they will be 'easy to find' - but perhaps they will be in some unexpected place? Such as that H&B RTC place had the Belvita turned out to be the correct one:rotfl:. But, if you know where you are looking, you'll probably be more likely to find them in their normal aisle or in the general main RTC shelf of the store. Although, if you haven't found them there in your M and if you have time, maybe a trip around the entire store is needed and then they will be there! Don't expect to find them though - although, with my number of 'hits', maybe there is some hope.:) I've experienced probably about 5 out of 18 Ms having at least one of the items - 4 had just one of the items and the other one had two. However, one of the previous ones with a return of one has now come up with a further item that it did not have before and has seemingly lost the previous item that it had. It's now lost the new item due to me buying the single unit of stock:rotfl:. So, I'm sorry - it no longer has either:( (unless there's some more, and maybe more different undiscovered items/yet to be discovered items, being held back).0 -
Good morning:)
At last an early morning win on ipint £5 off 12/15 pack:beer::beer::beer::beer::j0 -
It was crucial the timing between my post and bubbs' post earlier. Had I posted a few minutes later, you would have thought I had cheated and got all the information from bubbs' post. As I was, I literally happened to walk in to here at home at that time and post.
I can read through walls and get information with my psychic abilities these days:D - getting a price when I have no stock and no SEL:):rotfl:.
I'm getting good at this inferring of information from unclear situations in my stores, when things would have been clear without any doubt at all if only I had gone to another store (...in which other things would be unclear that are clear in the actual stores I went to... etc.).
So, if I seem clueless about some things (that are obvious in your M), it is just because I am not, on that occasion, using your store. And then hopefully I am clarifying things for you that are unclear in yours. It's very helpfully actually - as sometimes a few of the things at very good price on my M list (buy in M), whilst almost none of that list is available to anyone as it's all in another store:rotfl:, will be found in your store because the prices have not been marked down and therefore leaving you with plenty of stock which none of the other people using your store know about:j and which none of us elsewhere can find as the items have sold out of our stores:(:rotfl:. You can even know more about what the prices actually are than the staff of your store themselves, assuming that I have managed to work out correctly what the price actually is:doh::rotfl::rotfl::D:rotfl::(:(:rotfl:. And sometimes about which item(s) it actually applies to. (Frown about all the kerfuffle of trying to work out the prices and having to use other stores because prices of at least some items are unclear in mine - just as the prices of at least some items in every store, and different items in different ones, are unclear. Even after three stores I am sometimes unclear about a minority of prices (of items that are found in those stores) and sometimes I reach incorrect conclusions based on that - that then another store immediately reveals to be wrong. However, I also go to stores and can immediately tell which prices through the store are incorrect.)0
