Saving a few pence, or quid, on the tins in order to lose it on the Coffee:(:mad:! Sadly they don't collect prices from Morrisons advertising. I can only assume full price SELs situation in four out of six of their Ms, which could happen at random (or maybe, for example, only three (out of five) if one of their Ms doesn't stock and doesn't have any evidence, a SEL of the product, at all) - again not an excuse for the price collectors just how I understand these things might happen. I don't know if there is a wider issue - like there were, it seemed, on the Pringles months ago - Ms were displaying £2 on the actual aisle SELs even though various stock around stores and offer labels on them (which aren't scannable by APG people - I have no idea exactly how they collect the prices and may be wrong). Nowadays I understand that SELs are printed off by individual stores from a national computer system. That I even imagined that they would deliver individual tickets to the stores by posting them:rotfl:.

I know they print them off, since I asked a staff member about a product they didn't have recently and they told me it hadn't come in yet - I asked if they knew what price it was:idea: and they said when it came in they'd print the SEL off. Of course, it came in the week later (I found in a further store anyway!), after its offer and ended and the price gone up by over £2:mad::mad::rotfl:. It may be that the SEL to be printed from the national system has the full price and that's what a lot of Ms are printing off. If they are displaying full price in the APG stores, that's what price the APG will get.

They need to display offer labels over the top of the price SELs. Even when they do that however, sometimes the SELs underneath generally remain full price and APG gets that price. I note such issues on here when I come across them. I don't know about the 190g coffee sadly (and even if I did it would be no consolation) - because I'm onto the 200g coffee instead at £3.50 offer price (I hope that works on the APG). It is convenient to mention now - I was thinking of doing so a number of weeks ago but never found a relevant moment (not that I need relevant moments:rotfl:) - that I have the (other) Douwe Egberts at £3.50 when it's price per kg. is a lot more expensive than some items (e.g. the Nescafe Cafe Menus from before) that are not getting onto the list because :wall: they are not at their best price. In fact I know I didn't mention this before, because the Cafe Menus price in M had gone up and therefore made my point, at that moment, no longer relevant - however had they been £1.50, the point was they go down to £1 so they were not getting onto the list! Yet, at £1.50 (which M isn't anymore!), even at £1.50:eek:, they are still quite a lot cheaper by weight than the £3.50 Douwe Egberts.

And yet that Douwe Egberts is on the list, because it's at some "guide price" (even though it's way expensive) but the Cafe Menus at £1.50, which would have been by weight quite a bit cheaper, don't make it as they ought to be £1.

Speaking of 'guide prices', it's reminded me - I need to mention what's happening on some Cheddar Cheese in M. Next. (Currently on the list as it's at guide price £5:eek: per kg. but, really, with way cheaper cheese than that available before - some £1.50 large pack in A recently? - it ought not to be set at that level.)

Not sure if we knew, Rapid rashers have appeared on TCB - available in M, T and Coop. Might give people a chance as our M hss been oos over a week - they said their system showed they could not get them! Why promote a product and then not have stock? Even with stock there was only room for one small box!

I finally found these 'rashers' in a M this week. there's about a butties worth if your not fussy. 4 very small pieces of microwavale bacon that are smaller when they come out of the microwave. it'll never take off :p
My M was on the list of stores that had stock but they didn't until this week.

Just why play around with bacon? Bacon is bacon and shouldn't be messed with.

Happy birthday Annabell5! Have this red velvet cake I made yesterday :D (side note, if anyone's looking for cake decorations, I found the flowers in Morries for 31p, for 24 :))

Did you find all four (maybe there are more?) M own brand, plus the Cake Angels - three versions of those plus any that Savvy hasn't found:p:rotfl: - all each at 31p? Thank you - I think you may have resolved a query I had from my - clearly hopeless - Monday collection - I had one of the M own brand at 24g:huh: yet they appear to be 15g or 16g - but it seems one of them must be 24 per pack. Rather than either 24g as printed on the SEL or else that was transcribed by me incorrectly.

The Cake Angels decorations are still 96p in my local. The 31p ones I found, were a 12 pack of 4 animals, 12 pack of big purple and pink flowers with yellow centres and the 24 pack I used on that cake containing 12 yellow flowers/12 pink flowers. Just checked and they don't state the weight on them. Still a cracking price though considering they go out of date in June 2018 :)

Tell you, I come to the wrong conclusions, on a couple of items, every time I use only three or four stores:rotfl:. What am I to do on those Natural Confectionery Company items?:D Just totally unsatisfactory that I should not know the price of some items in M:eek:.

    Anyway... the Cheddar cheese.

The Wyke Mature Cheddar Strength 3 (prepacked) is (I believe:laugh:) "in the process of moving towards an increase in price".

On Wednesday (now yesterday), I have BB 23rd April at £5 per kg. and BB 27th April at... wait for it... £9.18:eek: per kg.! The £9.18 per kg. version, despite being more expensive, was still marked with a "Special offer" label in the store in which I saw it:naughty:. So, do watch out for that - don't assume that ones marked 'special offer' are £5 per kg. but check the date (and price). However to be fair, other Ms that have the product may not necessarily have the same situation - so it doesn't mean that M are generally marking the higher priced ones with "special offer". I suspect that label has been put on in error in the store in which I was in and a different situation will exist in other stores, where £9.18 per kg. versions, if they have come in, will be unmarked and will, eventually, become the only version stocked by the stores (until there is another, presumably gradual, price change) - some Ms may already be on just £9.18 per kg. stock:(.

I don't know - my situation is found no trace of the product at all in two stores and found both BB date versions (fortunately!) in one store.

Anyway, just so you can have fun at my record:

    1. I thought the pork mince was disappearing from M. In fact it was merely temporarily absent from a few stores I checked on one check day.

    2. I thought the Scissor Tongs had gone from 48p to £1. In fact there are (at least) two different versions.

    3. I thought the 1.4kg Chicken Drumsticks may not be available in M this week. In fact I now have a SEL in one store, and there may be some (now old) stock around somewhere.

    4. I thought that only one Rockery Perennial plant has gone onto 66p. To be fair I corrected myself on this before I even came onto to this thread as I used a further store at the end of my price collection and discovered two more. In fact therefore there are several different plants on that price in "M", although they are all on the same BC (I believe:rotfl:). However, I have found a further, different store (on Wednesday) which only has the same single plant as the other three on Monday. So, if I'd used those four stores instead and not used three of them plus the other store, I would have still ended up with thinking that only the Aubrieta Kittie had gone to 66p. In fact, there are several different plants that are available from M at that price.

I'm trying my best folks:rotfl:. From reading my posts, it is self-explanatory as to why these situations are occurring.

However - :jI correctly got the price of the Red Salmon despite not seeing it! (I've seen absolutely no SEL for it - and had no stock - anywhere on Wednesday.) Pure luck:p:D:rotfl::).

(...Or lack of luck, if I had wanted to buy any Red Salmon.)

Are you doing guesses as to pricing as well now?:rotfl::rotfl::cool:

(...I'm sure it is £1, if you say.):)
