I had no problem yesterday (sneaking into a store).

Meanwhile, some time earlier, in a 'foreign' store which I have never been to before, an SA immediately pounced upon me as soon as she saw me take a voucher out of my pocket:eek:. I hadn't even lifted it towards the machine:eek::eek:! So it certainly isn't anything to do with whether you are 'known' in that store or not. Maybe some stores are just more stringent than others. Staff in some stores do insist on checking and signing receipts - other stores, they don't appear to notice you at all. I find small supermarkets are generally 'better' on that score - though sometimes they are not. Maybe it's just me that they don't notice (like standing at the bar and I wait ages to get served because everyone else is making eye contact). If you don't want to be noticed, it must be hard being neurotypical:rotfl:.

I think the 'advice' is the usual: pick your store and your SA.
