:DDoing well thanks. Physiotherapists at last have started coming to him at home. First time he has stood since February
Yesterday was the first time he has left the house as he had to go to Guildford Hospital about his blood cancer.
Hospital transport couldn't find house so already 1 hour late
Got him to hospital & then wanted their wheelchair back... Dad can only transfer on an etac rotunda thingie. So Mum, Dad, hospital transport staff spent the next hour visiting every ward to find an etac ..... Mum exhausted as they covered at least 50 miles between wards:o
Then after spending all day there for one 15 minute appointment - they then had to transfer him back to transport wheelchair - luckily the staff manually heaved Dad into it rather than go off on the hospital marathon again.
So they had a day out :rotfl::rotfl:
Mum is now going to buy their own wheelchairOur Family Motto ~If all else fails - read the instructions...

Morning all - still wet and gloomy
I remembered the groupon code late last night so I bought my 2 deals at 11.30 - thanks for the various reminders yesterday.
I keep talking about it and finally I've taken the plunge and got the Lakeland distillery and afternoon tea deal - I had £10 groupon credit due to a long ago problem so that brought the price down a bit alongside the discount code.
so has anyone been there and what did you think? I cant find a description of the afternoon tea.
I've also got the problem of finding near by accommodation, it seems to be nearer Cockermouth - I wonder if there are any groupon/living social deals for b & Bs close by.
I know there is/was a Travelodge in Kendal for the first night and I seem to think there is one on the coast ...
anyway I've got 14 days to figure this out but any suggestions would be helpful“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
I then logged onto my other groupon account which actually seems to be my main one to get the hair cut deal and found a long ago forgotten 28p credit - like finding 28p down the back of the sofa“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0

Good morning all.:)
Just a quick reminder that today is the last day to get your free bread mixes. They are also on CS as well as COS.
I'm off to get my last 4 packets. Haven't used any of them yet so hope they taste nice!! The cupboard is groaning from the weight of all the free goodies I've accumulated over the last month.:rotfl:
I am crossing all fingers and toes that this one gets extended as my local small store does not have them but I am near a bigger one on Thursday
I like the sound of the savoury scones
Please can I ask these bread mixes what do you need to add to them - is it just water?“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Going to bed happy
And.....just for mhoc, I walked round to the express and was delighted to find they had bottles of Amstel which took me over the £1.21 I needed to claim my £20 on COS. Small things
very useful to know that express purchases count, it will save a long drive.
- I was talking to the local girl I know who also does MOCs and comps etc last night via FB messanger so I ended up going back out last night as our mt !!!!!! had the mags in a hidden place. also got the orangina for shopotize and the reduced rum for COS. and the milk we had actually run out of
our road is closed due to an electric company doing work so its a long convulted way to mr Ts but now I am over the £20 level on both COS to be able to withdraw.
Just waiting to see if the offers refresh on Wednesday before I do a withdrawal“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Per T's website - you will need water and olive oil, possibly some melted butter/flour for brushing/dusting but I imagine you could get away without these.
The garlic & herb is rather nice (although I didn't make it)

I know only Snap and Mhoc will understand and maybe PD. I just felt it was time to say I fancied Richie in happy days
Moff to bed:rotfl::rotfl:
I don't really think we watched happy days much, too American - too far back for me to remember ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Good morning all, happy Tuesday.0

right time to glue myself to the grindstone.
I was hoping to get away without bed changing today but while I was in the bathroom Treacle cat snook into bed and decided to do some grooming - not quite like a cat had been skinned but near enough - he is very black so you cant ignore piles of his course fur.
talk to you later ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0
