Morning all
lovely morning here and so much to do shouldn't be gassing, .but hey ...
Hubby has too much ferratin in his blood (iron) it is very dangerous and can cause all sorts of problems but needs a very expensive test to see if its genetic or something else.
In the mean time his heart, diabetes and liver are suffering badly but we found out the hospital had vetoed the test after the blood was taken due to cost .
We have consultant on the case and he has ordered another but nothing yet. In the mean time I have found the easiest remedy is to become a regular blood donor and the blood is very beneficial to the recipients too.
So yesterday I took him with me, told him to not mention the hoo haa at the hospital and just give his details medically.
He gave his blood ok and he woke up this morning with a smile saying he felt better already.
I don't know if this is psychosomatic but its good enough for me .......on that note ...have a great day and thanks for listening xxxxxxxxxx0 -

I booked myself into a crochet session that's running the day after tomorrow, and after I'd handed over payment to attend I was asked "you do know how to crochet don't you?". At that point I mumbled weakly that I had been shown a few times (true) and I was then sternly told to go away and "practise your trebles".
I've done what the scary lady told me to do, and am now ready to move on to squares and changing colours.
Fortunately my local library had this book, which has the clearest instructions I've found so far:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1908449209/ref=olp_product_details?_encoding=UTF8&me=
I'm left wondering why I bothered to register on the workshop but it's too late now!
You're a step ahead of me with trebles, I can only chain and double chain, hence making a very boring square! Silvercar, I wish I could crochet in circles! I have been looking at some youtube stuff and will keep perservering. PD I did quote your pic but its now gone, but your crochet is lovely. I really really want to be able to crochet some kind of blanket like that.vanilla_twist wrote: »Evening all
Got my sopost benefit 'instant comeback' in post today. Must say it is very soothing. Reminds me of the 'snail gel' I sometimes get in my youbeauty box.
Think its my favourite sopost so far:j:j the candy crush one was vile went straight in the bin:rotfl:
Ok full of questions tonight.
Firstly do sketchers go walk clean well in washing machine please?
I am having a foot op next week and will need to take a right slipper in (no need for a left one) I use my go walk as slippers as stay on feet better plus my pink ones go well with my new dressing gown.
Secondly
I got some Rodial facial exfoliation which is lovely but smell like wee. Can I add essential oil to it as I know I will not use it while foul smelling?
3 Rd nsd in a row and hopefully will continue tomorrow. Wednesday visiting lakeside with N so no chance of a nsd as they have a Thomas Sabo shop I need to visit as birthday bracelet is too big.
Sorry I missed the grand national but I had my sister visiting. Will donate to both winners. I won last year which helped boost my nieces London marathon just giving page very nicely.
Right off to watch Bear and his island (working on a photo) I do wish the press would stop leaking things.

Hi VT. Think it was you who sent me the sopost thing, I got my benefit eyecream the other day and really like it, in fact so much that even after a few days I'm considering buying one (although I expect its stupid expensive so maybe not!).
In reply to the go walks, I just chuck them in the washing machine on a 40 degree wash and they're absolutely fine.
Snap, glad your Dad seems to getting on well with the physio.
Rhos, sorry to hear about the latest saga with the wedding caterers. Glad it is being investigated.
TM, I did catch your comment from a couple of days ago, but have literally been catching up! The swimming hasn't really helped the weight loss as I've only been going once a week. I've been low carbing since the New Year. Few periods off here and there, but going really well. Another lb gone today, so up to 3 stone 9lbs lost. :T
Its taken til now for me to catch up from Sunday night, as was really busy yesterday. I reckon all you lot with your electric puns jinxed me, as my boiler broke.Realised all the sockets in the house weren't working, kept tripping when I reset it, and identified it to the boiler. Engineer coming out this afternoon, so glad I have a home cover scheme.
BQ I'm glad your op went ok, hope your recovery goes smoothly.
wendyak, how kind of your husband donating all that iron rich blood! Glad he feels better for it, even if it in his head! :rotfl:
bubbs, STILL no pepsi max in local waitrose, went again this morning.
Sorry if I've missed anyone, not intentional at all.0
