When we were growing up our hot press was outside the bathroom and if you climbed up the shelves you could look in the wee window above the bathroom door.

You'll have the conversations you need to have, with the people you need to have them with, when you are ready.

With my mother earlier this week I had the very needed conversation, on her side, with her at her invitation, and it wasn't easy but it was necessary and now it is done my father and siblings have been saved the angst and we are just going to get on with making the best memories we can.

Thanks Ellie. I'm so sorry you're having such a sad time :( you seem to be the one in charge of your situation and thats a heavy load to carry. Are you the oldest by any chance? :o or are you just the sensible one? Either way, you are doing right by your parents. We only usually do that when they have done the same for us.

it really is a big circle  when you think about it. We are brought into the world, loved in our various ways and then we repay that love by loving and looking after the people who brought you here in the first place. The circle of life......sung in the voice of the lion king :D

I'm the middle one but the oldest girl. We are over the sadness, just getting on with it. My parents are celebrating their golden anniversary in May so my sister has organised a party, not sure if my mum will be able to go but hopefully she will and it will be amazing memories for the rest of us.

I hope both your parents, whatever their circumstances are able to be together to celebrate a fantastic milestone. I'm sure you can make it happen. 50 years is not to be sniffed at. it's wonderful! I hope you and your siblings can make it happen :A

We only had fairy liquid for bubble bath but it did make lots of bubbles so you had to be sure to give it a good squirt.

We need LFAB for an opinion on the rum/lager. I think she's partial to both :D :rotfl:

Thought my ears were burning :p
I am indeed a lager and rum kinda gal, can't disagree there :D not too sure on the thought of them together though. I am willing to try though to provide you with my opinion ;) :rotfl:
