May still be available if you want to try it.
I suppose it is like lager shandy with a hint of rum (the sort of concoction you might have come up with during your student days at a late night party ... who would have thought they would can it and sell it).

Following on from post last night about not keeping in touch with people.....
I've had a message from a dear friend tonight that has made me realise I've been wilfully avoiding some peopleMostly the people I talk to on a very personal level. I know I don't need to apologise to them for it as they are good enough friends to still be there on the other side.
I've made light of my recent stay in hospital. It wasn't a light affair. I had renal failure and my family were round the bed because for a few hours, I wasn't making any progress. Thankfully medicine and medical staff are wonderful and once I got a foot on the getting better ladder, I rallied quite quickly. I did, however, have a very brief dark time in there. A glimpse into my inevitable future perhaps? And I did think if that was is my future, I really don't want itNot a nice few days.
I'm still not feeling ready to talk about that with anyone on a one to one basis. I will, I've just preferred the safety of a public place for now. The grand National thing was as good for me as it was for everyone else. I needed the distraction.
I've done and said things I shouldn't have on here. I've upset folk and been disagreeable at times. I suffer from big gob syndrome. I'm not a fence sitter and probably never will be. I have been grateful for a place to go today though where I don't have to get too close and personal about how I'm feeling.

lol... I bet you still drink it!
I dropped DS2 off at the train station as he was going to his girlfriends for a few days. Clunk clunk goes his bag.... he says that he has 'only taken 2 bottles of the cheap wine'.... he has taken my fizz.

Count yourself lucky ... I have Classic Rum in the fridge and only Carling Lager left in the garage .
Think I might may switch to Stella Cidre.

I'm not a lager lady or a rum lady for that matter but the two just don't seem right to me  it could work? I think I might pass.
We have no lager drinkers here but my work does put on its own bar for fundraisers and we have plentiful raffles so I've enjoyed stocking up on carling0
