URGENT...I need some help with regards to monies and a claim monies

my point is that the insurance company agreed to pay me a figure which was agreed between my independant adjuster and their loss adjsuter based on average cattery cost for the period of time. I had a private arrangement with my neighbour then paid her directly afterwards.
All I want to know is where do i stand!!
What will happen from here on and if i dont have the money what do you suggest.0

were you stand is your clearly at it
Your refusal to answer a simple question shows that
Unless you were paying £80 a week cash to your neighbour the insurance company have every right to ask for the money back (extra)
Your insurance company should reimburse you for the money you paid and thats it
You clearly have been paying less than £80 and want to keep the extra, well you cant
You should subtract what you paid your neighbour and give the rest back or to the neighbour
The fact you are trying to con them probably means they dont believe you and who can blame them
Get a letter from the neighbour stating how much you paid them cash per week and either send the rest back to the insurance company or forward it onto the neighbour
You cant say pay your neighbours 30 a week and keep the other 50 for yourself
Grow up and stop trying to commit insurance fraud
If you dont have the money well you need to find a way to agree repayment to the insurance company or neighbour whatever is easier but either way the excess of whatever you paid per week needs to find its way to a rightful owner0

My neighbour has been paid in full for the period of time the insurance company paid me for.
Then since has been receiving £80 a week from the insurance company directly.
I managed to speak to my neighbour a couple of days ago and she confirmed to me that as far as she is concerned she doesnt have any issues with payments and her only issue that began all of this was because the insurance company where late with a payment to her.
I have told the insurance comany this and they emailed her to ask if she had received the payment. (which she wouldnt have done as the payment was for the period of time that i was paying her direct)
My neighbour says she doesnt have a problem with the payment when speaking with her so what happens from here on.
I dont want you to have a go its just I need practical advice on how to deal with this in the best way as I do not currenly have the funds to pay0

So your neighbour has received £80 a week from you between the time of the fire/cats residing with her and the insurance company taking over?
 Yes or No0

but the issue the insurance company are having is that she said i didnt give her the payment the insurance company gave me.0

sorry first post didnt go on.
 Yes she has0

on average thats what it roughly worked out to be as we paid her for example more at the end of the month when we had the money and less in the middle when we were skint.
 Plus other expense that occured0

You need to get your neighbour to give you a letter stating exactly what you paid them
You then need to subtract the sum on the neighbours letter from the sum you received from the insurance company
Any excess should be repaid to the company
The excess isnt yours to keep as you have claimed you paid £80 per week and if you didnt you have basically defrauded them0

            cant what??0

            thanks.
 I will do that.
One of the issues I also have is that the independat loss adjuster dealt with all negotiations etc with the insurance company and the payment where sent to our account. At the time we were not 100% aware of the breakdowns of payments and how they were worked out we were just asked if we were happy with say x amount for this etc.
We have spent most of it buying stuff for the house and kids.
Also I do not have any receipts or evidence etc of payments as it was a kind of friendly arrangement I didnt see the need can you see this causing me problems.
I am just really worried as I hate the word Fraud and we have been so honest with regards to all of our claim and tried to keep everything as accurate as possible. And I really do not know what to do.
We are currently in the middle of a complaint with the insurance company with regards to how our claim was initially dealt with so im not sure if they are carrying on with this for us to drop our complaint against them.0
