Hi everyone,
I filed my SA return on 6th April 1pm
I requested payment on the 8th April
Since Monday (10th) it has been pending
Still pending today site will update tommorow so will give everyone an update when status changes to issued

Last year I done my return on the 10th April and it was issued 8 days later on the 18th. It will either be issued tommorow or will be AFTER bank holiday weekend.

Anyone gets there's issued let us know

Even though it's on bank payment pending, doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be quicker as on 2015 it took mine 5 weeks to be issued but 2016 only took 8 days, it depends how many people file returns early as it's in alphabetical order by your surname.

I don't wish to be rude but that's incorrect and anyone here whose name is Aaron Aardvark who thinks because of what you said is going to get paid tomorrow is in for disappointment other by chance.

Actually I want to say more. People look at this thread and contribute to this thread because they want to inform and be informed about the likely outcome, timewise, of their claim and those of others. People rely on the information supplied here and build their expectations accordingly. That places a responsibilty on people to not post uninformed speculative nonsense.
Claims are processed alphabetically? No they are not.
Be careful what you rely on to be true on this thread. There's other nonsense in the pages of this thread in addition to this particular point.

It will update tomorrow to give you today's information but then won't update again Wednesday next week to give you tuesdays.

I think the first batch will be updated to bank payment next week. It does say 2 weeks if straightforward without extra security checks.
