HMRC Self Assessment Repayments 2016

Wonder if we can charge them for late repayment,absolute joke only want our overpayment back.wouldnt have this problem if we were google etc

When you say issued electronically thays how they issue all of them, until it changes to bank payment then they are just fobbing you off.. I rang Tuesday night they said "we have sent a letter to you to explain the extra security checks" I asked does that mean it's back from checks she says "yes so it should be with you upto three weeks time" absolute drivel, still pending - don't believe a single word they tell you on the phone. Asked them if they can tell me what was in the letter and if they required anything from me she said "we can't view the letter contents" !!!!!! very promising! Ridiculous.

so iv just logged in and it is now showing as "bank repayment 12th may" however - the cheeky A HOLES have reduced my rebate from 3000 originally to 2850 taking the NI off fair enough but then reduced it to 2300 quid!!!! absolute absurd!!! so almost a grand they have taken off me!!! it will be getting adjusted and more expenses put on!!!

Today my amount has dropped by £1000 ! Oh dear ih dear oh dear ! Still repayment pending !

bank payment issued 13th may for me...to anyone being told to wait for security etc have hope as they told me 27th may for them to be back etc and its been issued today and it was well over 5k. god luck all

Mine still pending called them last night said call back today and their look into it

I submitted my self-assessment tax return for 2015/2016 on 19th April.

Initially it showed that a repayment was being automatically made and no credit on my account.

When it didn't appear in my bank acount I logged in to my tax account again and mysteriously the amount was now showing as a credit, and no repayment was showing, so I clicked to ask for a repayment.

About 4 days later the repayment showed as pending.

And yesterday it changed to repayment made.

And my repayment has appeared in my account today :T
