Want to sell Virgin flying club miles

Hi all

I have 20000 miles in the Virgin flying club scheme which I can't see myself ever using. They don't expire until 2019. Is there a UK website I can use to sell these on?
Or alternatively is there a way to transfer these to another scheme like AVIOS?

Thanks in advance

Have a look here at what you can redeem them for.

You cannot transfer them to avios. Could you boost them and use them for something you want. You don't need to fly to boost miles.

You can convert them to avois but the exchange rate is comical so don't do it.

You don't own them, so you can't sell them.

You can use them for things other than flights.

Whilst you can't sell them, you can transfer them for a fee. If you found someone that wanted them and was willing to pay the fee it could be done. But, it's not good value for the person wanting the miles, there are cheaper ways.

OP, have a look at Head For Points for ways to increase them without flying in order to redeem them for something worthwhile.

Easiest way is to get a CC from Virgin IMHO

You might be able to do something with https://www.points.com.

I'd assume poor value but I've never assessed it closely.

Better off giving them away - that bad
Private Parking Tickets - Make sure you put your Subject Access Request in after 25th May 2018 - It's free & ask for everything, don't forget the DVLA :D

Ive got 62,000 Qpoints (Qatar) I tried to book flights from Kathmandu to Ras Al Khamaih earlier today and not a single date is available.

Ive got 16,000 Air Asia miles, it is absolutely impossible to use them on even a hotel booking.

I have 72,000 Avios and a one way flight to Madrid for me and 3 kids is 26,000 avios plus £70. Booked without miles it is £159 all in.

...I do remember looking a while back and the upgrades seem worthwhile, but the points are no where near as good as they appear.

is this a true comparison? where are you finding BA flights for 4 for £159 or is this Ryanair or another airline?...I would expect 4 x one-way BA flights to be over £400 total
