A work colleague brought lots of plums from her garden in, today ....so after reading this thread (and a few others)I've just had my first go at making jam :j
Thanks to all the tips on here, it seems to have turned out like it should . I used 2 lbs of plumbs & 2lb sugar. Tasted a tiny bit after I put it in the jars ... think it might be too sweet for my tastebuds
But I'll try it on toast later when it's cooled. :beer:0 -
Hi, Am I correct in thinking that added apple or lemon will set jam?
Daring to try some out but I only have apple. Worth a go now or just wait to the shopping trip?
