I actually called about this last night after reading the ML article. Said we had just had a baby and money was going to be a bit tight for the next few months until I went back to work and was calling to see if they could offer me anything on our package or else I would have to cancel and get free view. Well got £12 off for the next three months. Better than nothing and will certainly pay for a few more nappies!!!!0

Ginger NB - What package are you on to be able to get £12.00 per month off?0

I have Sky in 3 rooms all can watch differnt channels! This can be easily done by changing the LNB (the bit on the end of the dish) on your dish . A Quad LNB costs about £25 and even a new dish is only about £10. You can now get an LNB with six outputs from one dish. These have been produced mainly to work on sky plus, where you can record one station and watch another. Each SKY plus box needs two feeds from the LNB. If you have to line up the dish again just use the reception detector on the service menu in the SKY box. Sky boxes can be picked for around £15, e bay, car boot etc. Then if you want to increase the number of channels phone sky for a freeview card £30.
You can then move your subscription card between boxes. The only thing you can't move is the movies! Only the orginal card that came with the box will work for movies. I think it is to stop you taking it round to your mates house to watch films!0 -
We have the full package which costs about £44 a month. What can we do to get the broadband, phone & Sky package for about £35 a month. We don't mind cancelling and starting up again with me as the new customer.
Advice anyone.0 -
This may not be in the appropriate place but I've looked all over the forums and can't find anywhere better;
Since friday we've had all the sky movie and sport channels. We haven't asked for them and we weren't told they would be there, i found them while channel surfing. It's not just us but a couple of our friends have them too.
I wonder if this is more wide-spread or is it related to us being in the area that is going totally digital (Copeland area) next month?
Any clues?
Any use?0 -
