Sadly there is absolutely no way legal or otherwise of doing this ;-( BUT if you can get cable in your area then that is a different story. ;-)0 -
You can "watch" Sky very easily in another room. Your Sky box has a TV out connector - you just plug an aerial cable into this and run it into the other room.
My son has Sky in his bedroom just like this (although he can't control it - he just has to watch whatever my daughter has on her Sky Multiroom box). You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -

I fancied Sky+ so phoned up on Sunday (exactly 12 months after first subscribing) and said I wanted to leave. I was offered a new box for £49 installed.Bet match total as of 04/10 = God Knows + About £1000 Quidco. Time for Mrs Huddsta to have a crack!!!
The Bronze Challenge - earn £250 in profits =£73.320 -
I just rang sky to cancel my movies package. They just simply canceled it. The lady said that there aren't any offers at the moment. :money: Thanks to FK121 for the geographic number.0

I've got a faulty box and they said that someone would come out to fix it for £60.00 I threatened to cancel, and now he's coming out to fix it for free!!!
Got to say I spoke to 3 people yesterday and they were all really good!!
I've had half price packages in the past, but when I tried it recently - I was told that they could no longer do it!!!
I know people who have cancelled and then they have been offered deals after!!!
Good Luck!!!

Thanks for all the replies.
Sky don't seem to be offering any good deals for existing subscribers at the moment. there may be better deals if you cancel and then contact them a few weeks later.
Also, if you can do without sky for a month or two, they sometimes contact you with special offers.0 -

Do a search on ebay for `Sky magic eye` You have to run a cable from the sky box to the other room and watch whats on the main box, but you can at least change channels from the other room.0 -
multiroom is only an extra £10 a month I find it £10 well spent when you no longer have to argue over which channels to watch...:D
Pls be nice to all MSer's
There's no such thing as a stupid question, and even if you disagree courtesy helps.

I have to agree, we wanted multi-room aprox 10 months ago and bartered a sky+ box and installation for free.
Seeing as the sky+ service is now free, think it is very much worth the £10 a month.0
