im at a loss why someone would come on a money saving forum and tell us their sprog bought a t shirt for more than 100 sovs
i buy mine in matalan when they are 2 for a £5 and i like them, my wife likes them and i bet even my dear mummy would have liked them bless her

To be fair money saving =/= buying the cheapest version of everything.

Money saving is different things to different people.

    I didn't know t shirts sold for £105.

Just looked on the site and the first t shirt I came across was £185..wow and why
Even more of a shock considering it's likely made in China for a couple of quid. Fools and their money etc.

I'm pleased you got it sorted.

I guess you've both been taught a lesson on buying items instore and what rights you have.

Shops such as M&S, Next and even Primark offer refunds for 'change of mind' which is over and above what the law says they have to.
Lots of people fall into the trap of thinking that every shop has to do this. They don't.

The extraordinary thing is they are now "sorted" as they can get a tshirt in a different design for their £105.

I would imagine the reason this shop doesn't offer change of mind refunds is that they rely on people making crazy decisions and if they allowed those who got home to to have time to think "why the **** did I do that?" and return their purchase, they would have no business at all.

Regardless - the OP's son has got an alternative to the T-shirt he bought that he later decided (or his Mum decided) that he didn't like.

Given the laws governing returns, I'd say he was lucky in the result.
It doesn't matter which shops offer refunds or not and why they don't.
The fact is - the law says they don't have to.
You may choose not to shop at places like the OP's son did but a lot of young people do.
  • I was wondering why anyone would be posting about flannels ( aka face washing implements)

Think that went right over your head
  • Probably an impulse buy & felt guilty afterwards.........

I'm shocked that someone would actually pay £105 for a t-shirt. _pale_ And for a brand I've never even heard of!
A "flannel" to me is something you get washed with!!!
Think I need to get out more! :D
