HE doesn't like it and HE said this before I said anything about it !
It doesn't really come across that way.
when he put it on to show me it's awful so I told him I didn't like it and was not worth £105 so I told him to take it back and get a different one

How old is your son btw?

Tough. HE should have thought of that in the shop before dropping over £100 on it.

Has he asked if the credit notes work online.

They've offered a credit note and YOU have said that YOU like some of the ones on the online site, so that could be an option for him...

So why did he buy it? Sounds like his or yours buyers remorse.
  • £105 for a T-Shirt!
He could have bought this one a lot cheaper

He went into a shop and spent £105 on a tshirt he didn't like?

I think exchanging the t-shirt is going to be the least of your son's problems. You need to be talking to him about the value of money, responsibility and basic sense. Forget the £100, it's gone, and it's best to address this problem of his before he takes out a £20K loan for a car he can't afford.

I'm pleased you got it sorted.

I guess you've both been taught a lesson on buying items instore and what rights you have.

Shops such as M&S, Next and even Primark offer refunds for 'change of mind' which is over and above what the law says they have to.
Lots of people fall into the trap of thinking that every shop has to do this. They don't.
