Sunday was very lovely indeed. Happy times :D

Lots going on here. Were going to get DH new to us car today, I've arranged the insurance. Just need to cancel old one when we get back and breakdown cover and get a refund on RT.

DH also in discussion with someone over a job that should start in a few weeks. Hopefully he will be able to do it alongside his current job and then if it works out build up those hours until a point where he can do that full time. Fingers crossed. The extra money would be fantastic (as always) as it would just go straight to overpayments. Lots to think about.

Lovely day here, albeit a chill in the air. Washing out though and another (or 2 will go out after). need to plan what we will do for the long weekend, thinking 2 days out (picnics, bikes and long walks) and 2 days at home doing garden/house stuff. Hopefully we can get a bit more stuff sorted and I can hopefully list some stuff to sell from garage (a single bed at least) to make even more room and extra for the coffers. 2 fleabay items have gone this week, so that's good. Will try and list another handful this weekend.

I must also spend at least one night this weekend listing stuff for the sale a week on Saturday as it's such a good opportunity to get rid of low value stuff without doing a car boot. First step is to get it out of the loft :o Baby steps :rotfl:

Well I've managed to get the clothe set out of the loft :T I now have 4 boxes sat in dining room ready to be labelled ;) I also sorted through another 5 or 6 that went back up that are clothes that will still one or other of my too.

Spent much of yesterday house sorting, including several boxes if 'gubbins' that had just accumulated over time. Homes now duly found and place looking much better.

Used meat and bread from freezer for BBQ for friends. Made a couple of salads. Cleaned house all the way through so no need to do it for guests today :A

Big roast today for family, but there will be loads of leftovers so they will get stashed. DH get some ys bargains yesterday which have been frozen. I'm only planning on buying fruit and veg for rest of the month as we have plenty of meat/fish for meals. Should be the same next month too.

Making sweet bread plait for pudding today, so need to kick of the dough when the rest of the house gets up, plus find something get to stuff it with, see if I have some mince meat, if not apple and sultana it will be :D

Waiting to see if a counter offer is accepted on an item I'm selling, will wrap so I can post tomorrow (could probably do today to be fair as our po is in the local shop and it's open 7 days) but they may not come back to me before then

Easter egg hunt with smalls, maybe inside depending what time the weather turns. Have egg baskets etc... for previous years to reuse.

Working through next months budget and being early adopters of the additional hours looks like it'll save me about £130 a month :T rest of budget looks fine, just need to keep an eye on fuel in DH car, as he didn't use his old one very much and have already budgeted upwards, but may need to do again.

Loving the 4 day weekend, could definitely get used to this :T

Thanks folks! Another a week passed and things just none stop as ever. Good things this week:

Lots of home made meals, including snacks. DH and I talked some more about bringing food budget down more and just basically shopping less as you can't spend when you're not there. Will be trying this more next month. Continuing to track spends
Refund on RFL for DH old car and insurance, both will go to LPDF (loan paydown fund)
DH and I both got c/b from bank account
    Sold something decent in fleabay
Sold shed loads of stuff at a sale yesterday. Not sure how much £££ as they send it to me, but just happy the items are out the door and any money will be a bonus.
Washing all up to date and dried outside :T for a bout 30 minutes at one point there was not a dirty item in the house :rotfl: didn't last long of course ;)
Found some more stuff to list on fleabay, will list 5 tonight
Been using y0utube for free yoga and loving it :T
Another great family day today. Making good memories. Happy days all round.

Quick post as I'm on my phone so excuse any typos! I've updated all the accounts ahead of Friday payday, this has included been able to get up to date with my 1p challenge, meaning now over £300 in that particular savings account :D

I've also moved some funds to another savings account which will pay down the CC as I go but annoyingly it still takes your minimum even if you've paid it off during the month so I'll just take the dd from this pot and then overpay anything else the day after.

I'm also doing similar for our loan pay down fund. Although I can overpay at will I don't think they would appreciate pennies every day, so will swipe it all in to a savings and move once a month. That way I can track it better too.

Just need to check DH t$b account for completeness and were done until payday.

So payday has been :D the big money shuffle done so time for a quick round up:

EF at 110% of target, so time to set a new target
Pots all in the right places and money in them :T
Paying myself back some money I 'borrowed', keeping track on my sheet - £335 to go
Blinds bought a year ago in sale have been put up (well one set has)
    Curtains down ready to sell
Curtain pole rings bought for £6 to make a previous redundant pole useable, saving £40 ;)
£80 from surveys paid to credit card
DH did a hand made thing this month so another £40 :T

We also bought the new to us car this month. Ok. Big outgoing but we've already started reaping the benefits (it allows us to do somethings that we couldn't do before) this has already had a listing effect on family time and DH health. Long may this continue. So, we know we need to pay it back, but my spreadsheet is up and running and budget adjusted :T we are very focused.

I've got money due this week from my sale last week. Not sure how much, but should be more than just a few £. Either way, much stuff was shifted :T still so,e to list on fleabay. Must do that this week.

Lots of work in the garden the last couple of weeks and I've resisted going to the garden centre to buy some 'colour' do need some compost and some plants for hanging baskets and one roll or turf to build out the lawn as we have a couple of unnecessarily huge boarders. May go tomorrow now I've been paid. May get some veggie seeds too. Depends how busy I think it might be. If not there will be opportunity later in the week. I've managed to do all the work myself which I'm really happy with, there has been some substantial digging!!

Enjoy your bank holiday peeps. PF.

Another lovely day. Saw bestie which was long, long overdue. Of course, seemed like I only saw her yesterday. That's why she's my bestie ;) much tea and talking :D

Took smalls to a trail on the way home with an augmented reality trail to find the gruffall0 and friends. Was really good and free exercise for all. They had wellies on and loved puddles and mud :T

I managed a run when home so 5% of my 50k in may done. Considering it's been a while I felt good. The free yoga I've been doing on YT seems to have really helped my core. Will try and do some in a bit.

Pegged washing out late as was out longer than planned but any drying will be better than none.

No meal from plan as 1 small had left over lasagne, other pasta and pesto and DH burrito I made yesterday. So meal plan stretched an extra day. I'll have scrambled egg or something. Made smalls packed lunch whilst doing our picnic earlier saving me a job tonight ;)

1 small bid on item resisted for 1000 time on fleabay but better than nowt. Still need to list a few more, think I'll revisit May goals tonight and pick a target for selling (or listing at least ;))
