Hi April Awesome-ees,
Just a quickie. Felt ok this morning so I got up and went to work this morning, lasted 90 mins, turned green and came home in quite a bad way. :eek: I usually have such a strong constitution...
My boss put me in a taxi on the company account. I won't get paid for the time off which is a pain. Oh well. I work in quite a dangerous environment, the last thing I wanted to do was faint in front of a forklift truck.
So now I'm on the sofa til I feel normal again. Doing nothing much and spending nothing.
Debt Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Month Ten:
* Free journey home from work. The taxi fare was £9.10, for a 12 minute journey; glad I wasn't paying that!
* OH found bargains in Aldi, cheap meat. Unfortunately she rushed home to be with me and never got to complete the shopping. We'll make do.
What you all planning?

Morning all,
Awoke with a crick in my neck & a headache. Bah! Painkilkers have lessened it but am still feeling rather spaced out. Despite this, have achieved a fair amount:
*Have cleaned all downstairs rooms - minimal products & washable cloths.
*Bedlinen changed & loaded into washer for cheap overnight wash.
*5 items photographed ready for ebay.
*Veggie seedlings checked, also all the baby plants I potted up yesterday. All ok.
*Broad beans moved outside to harden off. Got a good crop last year. Hoping for same again.
*John Lewis vouchers in handbag to help with oven purchase tomorrow. £80. Earned from Ipsos surveys & from credit card points. It will help......esp as car is now making a worrying noise.
*Took Easter tree down & packed decs away for next year.
*mr f is working closer to home today as there is an IT outage at his base, so he said he'd come home via Aldi & pick up the grocery shopping. Gave him the list with target budget written on, but he"s really good now. Has now sussed that it isn't a bargain if it isn't needed.
STILL TO DO:
*Oh, this is annoying. Took an item out of pantry first thing & it was adorned with fresh mouse poo!! Oh joy! We only usually have mice if it's a really cold winter coinciding with their usual habitat being disrupted.....ie neighbour moving his shed. So my next job is removing everything from the pantry, deep cleaning, checking for anything that's been nibbled & checking old bait boxes to see if still viable. Should have guessed as cat has been behaving oddly (more than usual!).
*Make a packed lunch to take on city centre trip tomorrow. Nice to have lunch out but not nice enough to pay £15+ for a couple of paninis & a drink.
*Free pasta sauce tonight. When we last bought steak from the butcher, we were given 2 cartons of stilton sauce. Chuck a few mushrooms in & it should be ok. We never buy readymade sauces so I expect I'll moan I could do better myself!
Ok. My coffee mug is empty. Time to fe-mouse the pantry.

Hi all,
CCL, I hope you had a lovely birthday yesterday.
Ally, rest rest rest. Wishing you well
I'm off sick today with half a voice, aches and a cold.
I have managed to clear one highish % interest card with a couple of 0% balance transfers to my other cards.
Am making veg soup from some old veg in the fridge - should help me kick this cold as well as being frugal.
Need to see what to list up for sale next... I have quite a large scarf/pashmina collection that could perhaps be thinned down...
Also need to get my YNAB head on and learn how to use it properly. Not sure I've set everything up right...
Have a great day everyone!New total: £24,006

Afternoon All
Legomum - Thanks for starting us off today, ouch to the toothache, hope you manage to get it sorted
Hi to all of the regulars and a BIG welcome to all the newbies and returning posters, this is a really FAB thread with so many lovely, caring, considerate and supportive people.
Gosh, my life and my mood is swinging like a blumming pendulum and I just don't know where I am, today I am at rock bottom and have had an extremely trying morning - arranged yesterday that I would go clean at mum's today, 1st call - when are you coming? me: just let me have a drink and something to eat and sort DS then I'll be down 2nd call: Are you coming? me: yes. I'm walking down now. Get there and "I've already done lounge" so I crack on and deep clean bathroom, dust, hoover and strip bed and then she tells me she doesn't want my DH to do any jobs anymore for her (he usually helps me with bed, cleans windows, cleans all lampshades and lots of other decorating and diy jobs that need doing) so we (me and her) re-make the bed, she then shows me where all the ironing is and she pops off to her hairdressers appointment. Finish ironing and deep clean kitchen. I just feel so sad and tired and just want to give up on everything - everything kicked off massively over the Easter weekend between me and my younger brother and it's all turned really nasty. So I don't really feel like doing anything but I'll try:
Off out this evening to celebrate DD's birthday
Packed lunch for DH - Done
Housework at mums - Done
Check Bank - Done
Collect DS's shoes from cobblers - Done
Have Morrison's points added while in same building - Done

Busy busy day again - I'm only just getting 5 minutes to rest now. :eek: Got lots done though.
LaE - we have been told that the teal fitbit will be available tomorrow so I'm going to have that one.
Thanks for thinking of me though.
DH still on a downer today - I've tried lots of things to bring him round but nothing much has worked so far.

Took the kids to gymnastics this morning and then spent the whole afternoon in the kitchen and houseworking. I've done a load of cooking to get a head start, plus a bag of rubbish, hoovered through again and mopped. So it's been busy. I have to take ds to football training later as dh is at work. It's outside training and it's blimming cold today.
Ziggy - lots of love to you. Sorry to hear things are tough at the moment.
Ally - please take care of yourself. Have a rest for a bit.Not giving up

I'm back.
Slept for a few hours and now I'm b.o.r.e.d. I've a 'hyper' personality, sitting still cripples me mentally. Physically moving about isn't happening either.
Please G-d let me feel better tomorrow:
* Checked online banking. Account is fine.
* Checked credit card. All fine. I'm going to stop using it for wee purchases to get points now that the rewards have been slashed to the bone. Having the card stresses me, I don't want the temptation.
* Paid Council Tax and rent online on time.
* Checked Quidco. Nothing paid.
* Checked Nectar points.
* Checked Tesco Clubcard points.
* Shared a bath. Used bath water after for soaking some clothing as the washing machine is still OOA.
Happy days.
