For my business a/c I'd rather have 100 per day spread over the month as I don't have the type of product to upload in bulk so 50k in 7 days is impossible.

I haven't got anything about an offer in my private a/c just the usual 20 items over the month

Yes, it's great having all these free listings, but I'm nearly at my monthly limit of 220 already.

last night I couldn't list any more, but of course today the quantity of sold items for March was removed, so I have a wee bit of space, but not too much. I only sold about 40 items in March.

Is there any way of getting an extra allowance, or is it simply a case of waiting for Ebay to 'up the limit'

If I remember correctly, when I first started with Ebay I could only list 20 per month, then this number gradually got higher. I never asked for it, it just increased.

The problem is that if you have reached 220 listings then it suggests that either you have a lot of things in your garage you don't want or you are running a business on a private account.

The only way to get your listing limit increased is to phone Ebay. I had to do this for my business and they wanted to know everything from my suppliers to the name of my dentist's sister's dog.

You will need a good reason to give them to increase your limit to more than 200 items a month on a private account. Bear in mind they will be able to see exactly what you are selling.

Just read terms of this offer. Restricted to 100 items A DAY. Ebay are encouraging business sellers to have private accounts by doing this.

Exactly what I said in post 9. I've just had a quick look at a seller I've bookmarked who sells some of the same items I do (but on a private account) and yep I can see they are taking full advantage of these free listings.
