Thanks for that. No email or nothing when I log in but it is there at the bottom of my selling pages. Wouldn't have looked there otherwise as I was not expecting any offers so soon.
I had the March offer so was very busy listing as much as possible yesterday to make the most of the offer. Had I known in advance, I would have eased off yesterday - I like to spread the finishing days.
Not sure why they just don't make it free all the time as this is the 3rd month since Jan?
Not complaining as I am making the most of it!!!!0 -
Yep, 4th month here as well on my private account, as a business seller I think this virtually unlimited free listings for private sellers is getting a bit much.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Just an update- if you read the t and cs this is 100 free listings per day- I've had a look on the community boards and somewhere there has posted the same. If you click on the offer link in your account it says "What is the promotion?
Create your listing(s) in an eligible category during the promotion period using the auction-style or fixed price format and you won’t pay an insertion fee per listing (promotional rate) during the promotion period. The number of listings eligible under this promotion is limited to 100 listings per day or by seller restrictions, whichever is reached first. Click here to learn more about selling limits.
Fees for 1 day & 3 days duration listings, Listing upgrade fees, automatically relisted listing fees and final value fees will still apply."
and also watch this restriction on shorter term listings
"Only items listed on eBay.co.uk using the auction-style (excluding 1 & 3 days duration) or fixed price (excluding 3 days duration) format in an eligible category are included. Listings using the auction-style with Buy it now format will be charged only thelisting upgrade fee."I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I had a couple of weird ones in march , started month off with free listing for month then about about 10 days into month had offer of 35% off listings then towards end I had 50% off listings
not checked this morning what I have but I can see them doing away with listing fees altogether"If I know I'm going crazy, I must not be insane"0 -
When I first saw this at the bottom of my page, I thought it was only for 2 days -Start 01/04/16 00:00:00 BST Finishes02/04/1600:00:00 BST
then read its for each day - within your limits, of course.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -

So for the 30 day month that is 3000 free listings (assuming your personal listing allowances are that generous)- madness.
Basically, don't bother upgrading to a business, just fill your boots and pretend to have found all these items in your shed.
I've just joined a couple of new hobby type forums for buyers and sellers and people are openly bragging about having 500+ listings, a registered shop name and a real bricks and mortar shop- yet managing to keep as a private seller on ebay and not have to worry too much about buyer changes of mind returns or paying for listings.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
