NSD 10/15 today. Heading into work this afternoon so food/drink from home.

Missed my NSD by $1.28.
But I consider it a WIN because my DH came in with the water wonder wand, that he waters our potted plants with, and said it was leaking and he needed to buy a new one. I asked what was wrong and he said the washer was shot in it. I had him take it to the hardware store and get it fitted for that $1.28 washer and now it no longer leaks.

No NSD for me today due to unexpected expenditure - OH bought a new razor online, but some internet c0ck- up meant the payment has been authorised from our account and is showing as a pending debit transaction on our account.....whilst the details of the order have vanished into the ether and the company have no trace of the order he placed. I am leaving it to him to sort the mess out and have transferred funds from savings to cover this amount (£160!!). Savings now seriously depleted so, when one of his pensions arrives in a couple of days I will be transferring some of it back to savings before he tries to spend it!

Also DS, who has more in his building society account than I have, has scrounged a fiver off me for a pub quiz night tonight...And has asked me to pick him up at eleven tonight....a time when I would normally be turning the lights out to go to sleep.

They say there's a reward for people like me in the next life, it had better be worth it, that's all I say!

Right I am calling it! I am claiming number 14 for the cauldron!! Going out for a walk with my friend later but no spending in sight! Woohoo! Fingers crossed for tomorrow too! Though tomorrow may be helped by the fact that my account switch is happening and haven't remembered new pin number or in fact where I put the card for safe keeping...hmm!
