If the crime is declared then a visa is required. The OP is NOT eligible to use the visa waiver, but might get away with lying on the ESTA application.0 -

what are the chances of me not being able to go to vegas? Is there anyway to find out before i board a plane or book a holiday my chances of being allowed entry?
You have three options. The one I recommend is to forget about the USA, which is a miserable dump, and go somewhere exciting like Cuba or Cambodia. If you are determined to go and do not want to take any chances, apply for a visa. The process is not cheap and you wait months for an appointment, but if they refuse you a visa then you know, and if they give you a visa you are good to go. Your third option is to 'forget' about your history. When you apply on-line for your ESTA do not say anything about your record, and when you are entering the USA do not so much as think about it. That way, you only know once you have got through US Immigration...0 -
!!!!!! the OP asks a question its answered in the 1st 2 replies yet idiots sign up just to post rubbish or established ones just muddy the waters to be smart
The first two replies state the OP should commit immigration fraud, I think its the people who post this sort of thing that are posting rubbish.
The OP asked whether "Is there anyway to find out before i board a plane or book a holiday my chances of being allowed entry?"
The answer to that is yes, fill in ESTA and find out. You may think that is rubbish but that is the answer to his question,
As both of his arrests are CiMTs, he will be denied ESTA and will require a waiver, then a visa IF he gets the waiver. A long, expensive process.
That is the answer to his question.
You may believe that is "boring" or "mudd(ies) the waters" and that people who know the answer to his question are "idiots", but you believe, either through ignorance or apathy, that the OP should just commit immigration fraud. That is wrong.
As an aside, there is a possibility esta will be scraped in the coming years. France, Belgium, Germany, Italy and Greece are already on warning, and if Trump gets in it will definately be tightened if not scraped altogether.0 -
Unfortunately I received a warning many years ago. I obtained a visa. The peace of mind was satisfying despite knowing many others who had been to prison and/or received 'worse' cautions had simply said no to any arrests on the ESTA, obtained entry to the USA and not had a problem. I think even now my arrest didn't involve moral turpitude and I could have proceeded without one but it is such a grey area. IMO, it is better to pay for a visa than spend thousands on a holiday and be refused entry. I'll be going again this year, paying £200 for the visa and enjoying every minute of my trip. I just hope I get given a longer visa (5-10 years) this time!!0

Why are you paying £200? According to this link if you're a tourist it should only be $160.

Utter rubbish. If you can't find anywhere exciting in the whole of the US then there's something wrong with you!0 -
I managed to find a bit of Yosemite which wasn't too bad....Voyager2002 wrote: »forget about the USA, which is a miserable dump
Seriously, some of big cities are indeed grim places but in general the small towns and the open country are excellent, and the national parks are magnificent.
