Already have an IN! I bought another tube of Nivea Soft as this is my HG moisturiser and I like to have a backup or two. I found it in £land today.

It wasn't a good month in March for decluttering the toiletry cupboard. However my rate of accumulation is slowing down as the desire for novelty is wearing off when I see how much space they take up! I know I'm quite an impulse buyer so my aim for this month is to not acquire anything I don't really need unless it's a really good deal and a product that's part of my daily beauty regime.

There are a few things I'm almost finished but I didn't quite use up in March so I'm hoping that by next Friday, they'll be used up. Will do my PP list later but a couple of UU for now:

Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter Body Butter 50ml - This was lovely. I've always been a fan of Soap & Glory but I only buy it when I see it in Boots clearance section. I would definitely buy this again but not for the time being as I have plenty of body lotions/butters to get through.
Pure Micellar Water 150ml - I bought this in Savers for £1 a bottle and it lasted me several months. It does quite a good job. It's not as good when removing my waterproof eyeliner although it did get most of it. I really don't like the packaging because it's not very durable - my bottle got a hole in the neck so I had to keep it upright so it wouldn't leak. This wasn't terrible but nothing special either so would not buy again. I have a Simple one to replace it which I got in the Tesco sale.

I have a few things which are on their last legs - a bottle of conditioner, a hand cream, a body spray and a body lotion so I hope these will be used up this weekend to get me off to a good start.

Thanks for the new thread Gemzie121!

I treated myself to the Soap & Glory Antibac Gels and the Strawberry one from Superdrug today as I got some exciting job news!

    Hope everyone is well! x

What is your news? I have been off this week and got some news that finally we have appointed someone to support me at work so some relief is in sight.

Need to make more of an effort with usage of my hand sanitisers too.

    Welcome newbies and returners.

    I have a uu

Lush R&B - not sure if I would buy again as it is quite pricey and very over scented, I will see how my hair is without it before I decide.

Ok my PP List for April is :-

Clynol leave in conditioner. Am really fed up of this item now!

Vichy eye cream - keep thinking this is done however it keeps squirting out more!

Elemis Lime Blossom Balancing Cleanser - won't last through April

Elemis PCMC - still working my way through stash of 15ml tubes and one of these lasts me approximately 2-3 weeks.

Liz Earle Skin Relief Light - pump bottle feels light. Will be glad when this is done as it is not as effective as the Normal/Combination version.

Liz Earle Exfoliator - again the pump bottle feels light.
TBS Tea Tree creamy cleanser - have been mixing these 2 products together as a mask.

L'Occitane Shea soap. This is only a mini bar but I've been on a mission to get through the bars in my stash. Have a L'Occitane Bon Mare soap left after that but know Emma has Lush soaps lurking around that I'll reclaim to UU.

LIZ Earle Orange Blossom body lotion. Not enjoying the smell of this now. Will mix Elemis Evening Blooms into it, I think.

Hand cream and hand sanitisers. On the whole I need to remember to use these more. In particular I want to get through the pump bottle of OPI Avojuice on my desk at work.

My 7 for Summer items are :-

LG eyeliner can't roll up product to ascertain how much left due to constant breakages
Benefit Boing (more pan showing but reckon enough to get me through April)
    Benefit Lemon Aid (ditto)
Laura Geller Bronze n Brighten - probably same amount of pan. Need to make more effort to use this
Smashbox It Girl lipgloss - UU! - will replace with another old lipgloss
OPI mini Red Lights Ahead ... Where? - have repainted my nails with this today and am calling time on it as was struggling to get product on the brush. Will pull another from my stash.
Elemis Evening Blooms oil - am rubbing on cuticles at night. Will probably start applying as body oil and chucking into bath water.

Have pulled out Sephora by OPI Dear Diary to UU this month. Couldn't
Bring myself to TA the red colour mentioned above so will keep topping up my toes with it until I really can't get anymore out.

Need to figure out which old Snashbox lipgloss to pull out yet.

Have pulled out both my Lorac Pro Matte and Benefit Neutrals kits to use and alternate with the Naked palette.

Finally, have a UU and a TA to report :-

UU : Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume. It was not the original. Came in a black bottle with pink lid and I remember buying it from duty free some years ago. It was nice. Not sure I would repurchase. Have pulled out Jack Wills Hope Cove body spray to UU and so that I don't get bored am alternating this with my fullest bottle which is Philosopyhy Pure Grace.

TA: MAC Prep and Prime 50SPF. This product was lovely when I used it in the US last year however I cut the tube open last week and since then it has been turning my skin into an oil slick. There's not much left but it's going. Will pull out my bottle of BM Prime Time to use.

thanks for the new thread Gemzie!

    UU already:
Urban Veda mini cleanser - WNBA repurposed as shower gel, this made my skin go all red after using it.
Yes To cleansing wipes - WNBA repurposed as cleaning wipes, dd an ok job!
Pixi Glow tonic - WNBA don't think this did anything

    GA:
travel size Madara Moonflower fluid - im so pale, even this pale shade makes me look orange and muddy so GA so someone else can get some use from it!

    IN:
Neals Yard hand creme thats free with Marie Claire.

My 7 by summer list is:
    1. Any hair product - I'm so terrible at remembering to use them the collection is massive and never goes down!
    2. Dior mini eyeshadow - i need to get some eyeshadows gone as my collection is crazy.
    3. Elemis Enzyme cleanser - this has been hanging round for AGES and i want it gone!
    4. Bite mini lipstick - again, i never seem to use these up so i want one out of the stash!
    5. Heaven bee venom mask - this is old but expensive and I've barely used masks recently. i want it used before it goes off.
    6. Nuxe serum - this just won't seem to end no matter how much i use it.
    7. Mac zoom fast mascara - this was from a 2013 xmas set. I'm planning on blasting it for a couple of months and binning it.

Love this thread! For the last couple of month's I've been resisting the temptation to buy anything new until my current products are used up. Started because I want to move house within the next 6 months, and overall I took the approach of giving away whatever I realised I would never wear again to the charity shop, items to Freecycle, and unusable/cannot give it away stuff to the dump. Feels great to have room to move and decorate. That then lead me to think: do I really need 5 conditioners, 10 moisturisers and 6 handsoaps? No! Wait until you've used up the horrific amount of stuff you currently have and then buy another one. It's hard but rewarding when I walk out of Boots knowing I saved £30 on a foundation when I have 7 perfectly good sample pots at home from MAC and Clinique and half a good tube of Dermablend. If I buy something new now will I use those? No - waste of money. We waste so much by over buying products that have a finite lifespan. I'll still be buying 3for2 offers etc periodically, but only where they represent a real bargain. Sales are on all the time so why pressure yourself to buy? Previously a make up junkie, I realised it's actually perfectly feasible to be able live life with the current 25+ lipsticks I currently have! My aim is to not buy any make up until 2018 unless it's a replacement for a genuinely used up product like mascara/powder. I was such a magpie - attracted by the shiny, pretty packaging and colours. I do still look, but feel great when I walk out having made zero purchases. Will be having a good old read of the thread and tips. Thanks!
