    hello everyone!

    INs
had an espa gift card from a magazine so used it to get a set so INs of eye make up remover, cleanser, serum, moisturiser, eye cream, shower gel, body butter, bath oil and body oil. also got minis of the serum and day cream too. the serum is my HG and i love the moisturiser and bath oil too.

    UU
one off my 7 by summer - Heaven by deborah mitchell mask. OH knocked my bag with my masks in off the counter onto the tiled floor and the lid cracked with one use left in the pot. once id realised the brand new tata harper one in the glass bottle that i hadn't even used yet had survived, i realised the lid off this pot hadn't. WMBA but its super expensive for what it is!
Josie Maran argan oil - used as a body moisturiser WBA
Origins Ginzing eye cream - on to my last full size of this now! still in search of a cruelty free replacement for a previous HG
your best friend eyebrow pencil - my mum got this in a beauty box and gave it me, it was ok so WMBA.

    GA
Essie nail polish - this was a blue colour id just never ever wear!
OPI mad as shatter - this is going to an 8 year old who will appreciate the sheer amount of glittering it much more than i do!
Nails inc glitter top coat - again, far to much glitter and bling for me!
sephora shatter nail polish - this was bought when there was that phase for cracked nail polish. used it about twice!
Urban Veda day cream - GA as the cleanser reacted to my skin so I'm not taking chances with this!

    TA
OPI nail envy - this has changed and was a very odd colour. it was almost going yellow!
OPI - an affair in red square - this has gone so gloopy it wasn't salvageable and i couldn't even get the top off to try!
Opi mini - WNBA - think this was a miss piggy one, very old and i couldn't get the dregs out of the bottom so gave up.
No 7 base coat - this had gone all gloopy and i have other base coats so just got rid!

One UU, off to work again shortly, but I'm on annual leave for a week after tonight :)

Nivea irresistibly smooth Shea body lotion 75ml - WBA I didn't expect to like this as I thought it'd be boring but I actually loved it and I think it may be a new HG. It made my skin feel like velvet and it sinks in lovely and quickly. I liked the subtle scent too, meant I could use any of my perfumes with it. And normally I'm one for strong scents. Will definitely get this again. I do like it in this size bottle too, very cute and fitted nice on my dresser meaning it was always in reach so I got through it quickly.

  • Evening all!
    Got another few UUs
    10. Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist mini. WMB. Think I got this in an advent calendar. I liked it and I've had the full size Calendula one before and liked it but they are expensive so I'd probably only buy on offer.
    11. Lush Twilight Bath Bomb. WBA. I have another in the stash. I really liked this. Smelt lovely and made lovely pink, blue and purple shimmering swirls in the water.
    12. Primark Sheet Mask. Hmm, not sure about this. Hadn't used sheet masks before and this mostly made me feel clammy but I used it in the bath so I'll try the next one without being in a hot bath and then decide.

I've had my Soap and Glory Perfect 10 palette out for the last week, as well as Makeup Revolution Flawless Mattes, and I've enjoyed it so much I'm keeping it out. I think it was from a Christmas range year before last but they're amazing quality.

Enjoy your annual leave Gemzie121! I've got two days booked off next week and I'm so glad I've only got a three-day week!
Have a lovely evening everyone! :)

    15) Lush karma cream 45g WMBA sinks in quick and I like the fragrance but it does not leave my skin as soft as others. It may be more suitable for summer use. I have another 2 to go.

    16) Lailly 7 second aloe mask WMBA nice enough, strange name when you need to wear it for 15 minutes.

    17) Lush dashing Santa bath bomb WNBA

    18) Lush Father Christmas bath bomb WNBA far too sweet a scent for me and yes I hate snow fairy.

    19) Lush 9-5 cleanser 240g WNBA nice enough bit turned into a LHJ. It did not remove eye make up very well and I much prefer oil/ balm cleansers so I felt that I was adding an additional step which was not needed.

    20) Elemis frangipani monitor body oil WNBA lovely scent and moisturised my skin well but I am too lazy to remember to heat it up so it has lasted me over a year.

    21) Leaders wrinkle improvement sheet mask WNA

    22) Hado Labo hyaluronic acid lotion WDBA loved it, lasted over 6 months, absorbs very quickly into skin and hydrates it. I have ordered another but will have to wait till it arrives.
  • Sunday night already, where does the weekend go:eek:

    UUs for me:
    Issey Miyake body lotion
    Right Guard Total Defence 5
    Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish

I have another Liz Earle but it doesnt do much for me so I might try and sell it.
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales

Just starting sleep in part of my shift, I have 2 UU just now from the toiletries I use for work:

Boots no.7 soft & soothed gentle toner 30ml- WBA this came in a gift set. May re purchase as full size although this mini was handy and still lasted a while. Does the job well and doesn't irritate my skin. I have some TBS mini ones on the way to replace this.

Baylis & Harding royale bouquet verbena & chamomile hand & body lotion 130ml- WNBA didn't like the smell of this and it was quite watery in consistency. Nothing special although the packaging was nice. Used it on my feet to get it used up when I realised I didn't get on with the smell.

Eta. Thanks Deleted_User I hope you enjoy your days off too :) it's my birthday week so I really didn't want to be at work this year. I'm looking forward to having my own bed for a week (although the staff bedroom here is nice enough. It's just not home) and not having to be up at 6am. Might actually catch up with friends this week too.

I'm making small progress with some moisturiser bottles and the rest of my shower gel. In the meantime I have used up some free samples:

    UU
Garnier Ultimate Blends Body Restoring Lotion 10ml sample - WNB - This had a nice scent but it didn't linger. However that could be a good thing if you don't want a strongly scented lotion. Not much to say about this as it did the job as well as any I would use but nothing makes it stand out for me. I don't think I would buy this full size. I have another lotion from the same product line (in full size) in my stash.
The Body Shop Oils of Life Intensely Revitalising Sleeping Cream 1.5ml sample - WNB - I used this last night instead my usual night cream and I would say it had good results but the results were as good as cheaper creams I have used, at least as good as the Vitamin E Night Cream I have been using which cost £1.50. I looked up the active ingredients list and it contains hyaluronic acid which can be found in cheaper creams. Its positive points include the nice scent on application and its formula as it isn't greasy or sticky or too thick. A little goes a long way as well - the 1.5ml sample covered my whole face on top of my serum. It's only my opinion but for me the benefits don't justify the £28 price tag for the full size version. This is only based on one use but I'm convinced I can find a cheaper product which performs just as well.
L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Clay Re-Balancing Shampoo 10ml sample - WNB - I don't think there was anything wrong with this shampoo but nothing particularly stood out for me. I also prefer SLS free shampoos so I wouldn't buy this full size.
L'Oreal Extraordinary Clay Re-Balancing Conditioner 10ml sample - WNB - Again, there was nothing to complain about with this product. It was certainly better than some supermarket own brand conditioners I have used and I wouldn't mind using it but I prefer other brands.
