Morning everyone,
Gers safe journey m'dear and hope all goes well x
Judi thoughts are with you, please take care of yourself x
Dry and frosty this morning, only working until lunchtime so not too shabby. Ache a bit this morning as bathed Billy yesterday and clipped his legs off, all that bending and crouching I guess. Have also started on the BSD diet as like the concept and looking through the book has many recipes I could eat.
Better get going, have a good day folks x0 -
Thinking of you Judi, and your mum, and wishing Gers a safe journeyI was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back0

Morning all. My best wishes go to JUDI and GERS. Thinking of you both, sad times ahead for each of you. Big hugs.
Today we have sun promised and about time too. I will put some towels in to wash and get those hung out before we go shopping. Just Aldi today, with a quick foray into Iceland next door for a couple of pizzas (DGDs love their wood fired C & T ones) Can give Sainsbobs a miss this week I think.
Need to plan my BSD meals for the next few days and buy in anything I might need. It's a faff making different meals for me and Mr TA but I suppose I'll get used to it! I made the rhubarb compote (cooked in orange & lemon and ginger) yesterday, so that will be brekkie this morning with yoghurt. It doesn't sound very filling but will see how it goes!
I detoured through M & S yesterday and spotted some bargains in their grocery section. Quite a few sauces, condiments, spices & rubs reduced to silly money (20p and upwards) so I went back for a basket, took advantage and staggered to the bus with all the extra weight! Of course that created a job at home and I had to tidy out my cooking/baking supply cupboard to make room for them! Oh dear I daren't tell you the dates on some of the herbs/spices in there!!
Have a good day all (((HUGS))) to all else in need or want of one and take care xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -
Morning all
Hugs to Gers & Judi
Fish have been fed, hubby dropped at work, I've been to the bakers to buy fresh rolls for hubby's lunch I'll take them up later.
I spend yesterday with DD and her mob, littlest DGS 22 months had been practising saying 'Hello Nana' and repeated it throughout most of my visit, he's so yummy, littlest DGD also 22 months is a mummy's girl but I did manage a couple of quick cuddles
The next 2 were delighted with their new clothes, DGS 10 put his new tee-shirt on immediately DGD 11 loved her new top and paraded round the kitchen in it saying how much she liked it and then rushed off to show her friends.
The oldest 2 aged 18 & 19 were at work, but I'm sure they will appreciate the Easter eggs I left for them.
I took a rug I no longer use over to DD's as soon as she put it on he floor both the dogs lay down on it, so it will be useful, there isn't a scrap of carpet anywhere in the house it's all polished floorboards.
I came back from DD's and cooked ready for our visitors, I did a huge bowl of roasted veg and some chicken, I also served cheese, cooked meats, coleslaw etc, there was very little left over, they left at 11:30, so by the time I had cleared up it was midnight.
Plans for today include ordering a cag in a bag for hubby, some crochet and a nana nap on the sofa.
Have a good day everyone.
Hugs HesterChin up, Titus out.0 -

The tomato seedlings have reached the top of the propagators and look nice and strong. My cucumbers haven't grown, I was moaning to a friend and he said his seeds haven't germinated either.
My lounge is uncluttered, clean and fresh. Inspired by Hester, I also cleaned the skirting boardsI've told the others they're only allowed in there if they don't touch anything :rotfl: I hoovered the cobwebs from the ceiling, bit surprised at how many there were. I just don't notice them, I must remember to look up more often

It's cold here, but the sky is blue and the sun is shining. Master tru is going to replace the roof on my shelter today, his apprentice will be here too - Scampi loves him and gets excited when he comes to the house so will be doing his very best to get out into the garden and play with himThe shopping's coming this morning, I arranged it before I knew the work was going on today. Scampi can't cope with two exciting things (he thinks they're exciting!) going on at once so I will be bribing him with a treat filled kong and a meaty bone, lol.

Morning all.
Gers and Judi, thinking of you both during such difficult and sad times.
Looking at the times all you post on here...by jings you get up early!!
Today is payday for me. So I need to sort all my banking in advance of my DD's coming out tomorrow. I leave for Liverpool tomorrow with work through until Sunday so I'll spend some time with my GF tonight, another quiet one.
Really looking forward to April now that I've signed up for the NST April challenge. I've a very busy month which makes me even more determined to save some cash so I'll need to draw up a budget/plan today too.
Was I the only one who woke up to snow?

Speky I have been an early riser all my life, at present my usual time is 5, in winter it is 4 because of the clock change. I would sleep longer if I could but I can't so heigh ho. That is a good time of th day, quiet and I can listen to the birds. Nobody about so it feels as though the world is waiting for the day, a good feeling.
Eta I usually go to work early, but a, at home this week so can please myself, a treatI was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back0 -
Speky, until very recently I was a very early riser (silly o'clock most mornings) and, like AOD, couldn't do a thing about it! Recently, though, I had changes/additions to my medication and, wonder of wonders, I am sleeping better! I usually wake up about 6.00 which, in comparison to previously, is a lie in!! In some ways it's better (ie I am not falling asleep through the day/evening) but, in others, I miss my peaceful, early mornings, spent doing quiet things like reading, knitting, roaming the 'net etc, so as not to waken Mr TA! xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream.
