A garage has just been put on the market in Bath for offers over £100,000!

That's the first time I've ever seen anyone suggest Severn Beach as an alternative to Bath, but I suppose it has it's own charms..... and there's Shirley's Cafe + a tenuous link to the young Bob Dylan.....:rotfl:
I just suggested it as more affordable and high rent yield! Plus I think its an area that will increase:p:p(although of course Bath is the lushest area!) Clifton is stunning but has huge parking issues and very expensive too...

I've never been, but always wondered is the motorway audible round Severn Beach way?0 -

Wages in Bath must be high for people to consider a 1 bedroom flat at £300k inexpensive!0

Interesting to see that the property is now listed as SSTC...so presumably the flat was priced competitively.
now we have to wonder is the OP going to be the new owner.....or is he still mulling over historical sale prices.frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

There must either be some very optimistic mortgage valuation surveyors out there or plenty of cash buyers with zero negotiation skills.0

I know Bath well, yes.
I have no need to be anywhere, for better or worse. (I work online) I'm looking for a UK base for the warmer months, and to diversify my investments a bit.
Looking to spend 250-325, perhaps with a 40% deposit.
I'm also considering (for various reasons)
Brighton
Clifton
Woolacombe
Rugby (cheap and 50 mins to euston)
Clapton / Stokey
Castlefield, Chorlton
My smallish 1 bed flat in Brighton (with a garden) was just valued at over £300k - so brace yourself....0
