If you have something that is that dark and sordid maybe you should have told the current gf sooner rather than being worried someone else would!

You know most sane and rational people know that other adults we meet had a life before us and that mostly it was rather dull.. we don't care! Talking to 2 people of the opposite sex at the same time is not a criminal offence.. I think you might survive!


Facebook do watch your searches that is how they target their advertising.. it is common practice!

Um, yes, you can. You can set the post settings to only display to your friends rather than friends of friends or public. You can also block certain people (on your friends list) or specific groups from seeing the post if you wish. Basically you can set that post to show to whoever you want and block everyone else.

Just block the ex, then she won't be able to see your profile or who you are in a relationship with.
Or come clean to your current girlfriend about the slight 'overlap' between her and the ex? It's the only way you can guarantee she'll never find out about it second hand.

So 3 years ago you dated 2 people.. oh..wow... it isnt like you were committed to either .. unless gf was pregnant then.

You are totally making a drama out of this.. move on with your life.. this other woman doesnt even know your name.. shes probably forgotten you exist.. get a grip.

Find her profile, click the box in the top right hand corner, click block, you won't exist on Facebook to her.

Keep your profile maximum security so it gives little information, don't give details on your profile you don't need to.

Relax, chill out, put an out to date picture of your girlfriend and child as a profile picture, the child looks a few months younger!

She may not even know it's me, I think she doesn't know my second name.


She isn't even an ex, just a girl I dated four times (just talking in bars) - 2 months after I started dating my current girlfriend.


All this happened in 2013. Started dating girlfriend in July and dated other one in August and September. The other girl may not even remember the exact dates- which month. I could just say I met them both at the same time in July, she might not remember the exact month that far back?


The reason all this is stressing me is I have a beautiful baby boy with girlfriend and don't want anything to take that away!

She won't find you on there, you won't show up in any searches she does looking for you the one thing is if she searches for you from another profile.

I was dating other people when I met my now husband (we met through a dating website and I was trying to get my money's worth by going on many dates ). He knows I was dating other people when I met him and isn't bothered by it! I did cull the others pretty sharpish though.

I don't think this would wreck your relationship but I don't really see the need to confess about the other girl.

If you have blocked her then the other girl cannot find you, she cannot see your profile and if she clicked on any of your friends or their lists of friends you would not be on there.

Have you ever sent your ex an email from the email address you're signed up to FB with? I'm sure Facebook gleans email addresses...I had someone I bought some work equipment off in the States years ago pop up as a potential friend.
