Thank you lovely people for indulging me in my monetary woe earlier  Lots of useful answers and advice (although I don't think I'll ever find the water meter! I've searched using their coded directions but there really is nothing there. If I see a neighbour in the near future I'll ask them if they know where it is.)
Fab advice Aesop, as always, re clearing cookies before buying insurance! The best quote was withhastings via Quidco. Now, Hastings have already emailed me the quote so I'm not sure it will work, but I'll jolly well use the Aesop method and try my best to get some cashback :money: I just opened a Tesco current account so I'll wait til my new debit card arrives before buying it so I can get Tesco points on the spend (I can't tell you how much I hate not getting something for nothing when I buy!!! Tesco points and no credit card surcharge - that'll do me!!)
Sugarplum, my mum, the biggest book hoarder I ever met, has just had a clear out because the electrician was coming to fix something in her room!! No book money for me :rotfl:
So my day improved after my earlier takeover of the threadI picked up a Field Agent assignment two minutes away from my flat, plus I sold something on ebay so £7.87 to add to my total from the sale and I'll add the other £5 when I receive it from Field Agent. I also resisted buying an expensive coffee at the airport in favour of a free one onboard, plus I used my Boots points to get a £1 sandwich so that was afternoon tea sorted! Oh, and I found a penny on the floor too :T
If that was me, would call water board and ask them to come do a Meter reading as moving out..... And then see where it is :rotfl: and you will have upto date meter reading.
You know the meters are usually in the pavement, under one of those small water meter drain covers.0 -

Ooh, that's smart! Outside my flat is just a patio area I share with two neighbours and then outside stairs down to the street. I had a look down there too, obviously to no avail. But I shall definitely call them with a sneaky Aesop approved/devised bending of the truth and see where that gets me.0 -

Well you are not trying to avoid paying your water bill. You just don't want to be landed with a big fat bill you cant afford. This way you xan budget for it with no surprises. They may have remote access to it and can give you reading without coming out.0 -

Good morning
Today will be a no spend day for me today, I have been behind on my no spend days as I've been socialising a lot more, it's too easy for the pints to add up
From them star wars toys I got from the bootsale, I've put two on eBay already at £85 BIN, another 2 should sell for £30 each and another at £25' if they all sold for what I am asking that would be roughly a £160 profit which would be bloody amazing!
I'm off kayaking at work today, along the canal which has the boat I am hopefully buying on it, fingers crossed I see the owner today working on her as he said the work may be done by the end of the week
I will also add I had someone buy something from shpock which should be being picked up some point this weekDocumenting my journey from full time support worker to full time eBay reseller0 -
Just popping in for a catch up as not been well again and very little done.
Clixsense up to $13.07 so am sliding behind my $1 a day target on there - will go back to my original challenge of beating last months total on there which was $19 odds.
