Just had my best ever night on ebay :j
I've just made a total of £137.70 after fees and postage have been taken off. This is following my blitz last weekend, so very pleased my hard work has paid off.
My target of £150 does not seem to far off, and with still just under 2 weeks left of April!!!
Off to catch up with the rest of the thread now to see how the rest of you wonderful money makers are getting on0 -

That's absolutely fabulous, well done. Good to see your hard work paid off. :j:p:beer:0 -
I rangup sky the othet day and had a moan about size of our bill.
They gave us 6 month discount on sky sports but it worked out that I got 2 discounts for May because of billing and then I will phone up again in May and see if can get reduced further for june onwards.0 -
Sorry I've neot been about much - loads of "family stuff" to attend to and haven't made much money, but saved £60 on car insurance although I bought it before I read Aesop's valuable post about how to refresh for "cashbacks" and found a slack handfull of "stones" for later.
Paid £1 for a sodastream with 2 gas bottles one of which turns out to be full(I stamp on the machine and use the "WORKS" for gassing up my home brewed beer, so I can get it both clear and "frothy" if I want.)
Next weekend is "Dandelion day" - the day when dandelion flowers are the best of teh whole year so I need to take a few hours out and brew 10 gallons or so of dandelion wine. (say 50 bottles of good wine for around a tenner . )
Also saved about £40 today by NOT buying something which I found I can have anyway ! :rotfl:0 -
Today I've earned £15 from Textbroker, sold a book on Amazon for £2 and another £4.24 from ebay.
Very annoyingly, my biggest ebay sale has turned out to be a non payer, so had to relist the item. Fingers crossed one of the other bidders buys it, I've put it as a BIN and will see how it goes. I guess I should take it off my total, but this would be depressing so I'll ignore this for now.0 -

Wow, looks like everybody has had a productive Sunday :j Well done on all your efforts. Some amazing amounts being added!
Thank you lovely people for indulging me in my monetary woe earlier  Lots of useful answers and advice (although I don't think I'll ever find the water meter! I've searched using their coded directions but there really is nothing there. If I see a neighbour in the near future I'll ask them if they know where it is.)
Fab advice Aesop, as always, re clearing cookies before buying insurance! The best quote was withhastings via Quidco. Now, Hastings have already emailed me the quote so I'm not sure it will work, but I'll jolly well use the Aesop method and try my best to get some cashback :money: I just opened a Tesco current account so I'll wait til my new debit card arrives before buying it so I can get Tesco points on the spend (I can't tell you how much I hate not getting something for nothing when I buy!!! Tesco points and no credit card surcharge - that'll do me!!)
Sugarplum, my mum, the biggest book hoarder I ever met, has just had a clear out because the electrician was coming to fix something in her room!! No book money for me :rotfl:
So my day improved after my earlier takeover of the threadI picked up a Field Agent assignment two minutes away from my flat, plus I sold something on ebay so £7.87 to add to my total from the sale and I'll add the other £5 when I receive it from Field Agent. I also resisted buying an expensive coffee at the airport in favour of a free one onboard, plus I used my Boots points to get a £1 sandwich so that was afternoon tea sorted! Oh, and I found a penny on the floor too :T
