I had a bread maker and we preferred the bread as it was nicer but our problem was the breadmaking handle used to leave a big hole in the middle of ours do i gotvrid of it.0 -
I am sorry to hear about your setbacks, I have signed up to sell on Amazon before but have never listed a product, i personally prefer eBay as it's what i'm use to, does anyone know how successful selling on Amazon is, I have never bought anything second hand from Amazon, i've always bought new, and if i want something second hand, my initial thought is eBay!
Carbootcrazy, who is being missed. Along with lynnejk. Did really well on amazon. It was one of her best income sites. She sold books but i know people have sold irons and other things on there. I am still trying to get verified but they didn't like my last statement upload.
They do deduct fees but you are told upfront how much they will be.0 -

I had thought about it but the hassle isn't worth it, as a single bloke on a boat I use a loaf of bread every 10 days so for the sake of 75p every 10 days, baking it isn't really worth it, which is sort of a shame as there isn't a better smell than the smell of fresh bread :TDocumenting my journey from full time support worker to full time eBay reseller0 -
Blogging is not as easy as it sounds. Some people have a natural flow when writing and it reads well. Others are very stilted. The othet problem is driving traffic to your blog and getting it up on the first page of google.
My niece blogs and we were talking about monetizing blogs but she doesn't do it, although she could. She blogs because she enjoys blogging about makeup lol. She actually does really well and gets sent freebies eyc
Completely agree, I would say I will be putting in as much if not more effort into my Facebook page designated to the blog. That's where the traffic would come from! As well as writing its advertising, using photos legally and maintaining the visions interest!Documenting my journey from full time support worker to full time eBay reseller0 -
Not feeling too happy this morning as I've just had to refund £29 to the buyer of my first and only book on Amazon:mad:. Buyer bought it Good Friday evening and I specified on my listing that I don't post stuff on Saturdays. What with the Easter bank holiday on Monday I made sure the book went first thing on Tuesday 29th. I was delighted with the profit on the sale, I'd picked up the book myself in a bookshop closing-down sale for £3.50, so sent it 1st class (picking up the extra cost myself but only 50p extra so no big deal really) to speed it on its way a bit.
Buyer emailed yesterday to say it hadn't arrived and again this morning after his postman had been. That's an awful long time for something to travel about 100 miles at 1st class rates:eek: so I refunded.
All sorts of little setbacks for me (money lost instead of gained) this week so I'm glad I'm not officially doing the challenge this month. Will be money-making with a vengeance, or trying to anyway;), in May so I'll definitely be joining in then:j
Some wonderful amounts of money being made by you all and in lots of ways I'd never heard of before:o. I know I'll learn a lot from you all on this thread:beer:
So sorry to hear this. They maybe pulling a fast one to get their moneyback. This is whyni use couriers even though they are not infallible.
Did you get proof of posting from post office? If not still put a claim in to rm with the link to amazon sale proving you sold and posted it. Hopefully they will reimburse you full amount you reimbursed customer0 -
I gave it up last summer when the ads stopped crediting and were getting fewer and fewer paid ads. Saying that soneone on facebook cashed out recently.
From what I can remember you had to put your PayPal address in settings and it had to be verified paypal.
Then when you reach cashout, it offers you paypal to redeem.
Thanks Aesop, I saw someone on here said they'd cashed out recently )can't remember who!) so that's why i posted. It seems to be crediting at the mo but I only have 100 points.Make £520 a year in 2020 so far (£0 cash £0 AGC)

Money from family too but not counting that in the earn X in April cos I didn't do anything!
Ah, happy belated birthday, hope it was a good one x0 -
So i listed loads on shpock today as they also have a competition to win £1000. I sold my camera finally after relisting for a few months.
But have decided today anything not sold after a month goes charity shop or freecycle. I am just building up more and more clutter. And while the sales are coming in handy for extra income, I can't keep hoarding stuff.0
