Lloyds Fraud Team - I keep getting picked on!!

OK, so it happens to other people too - and everyone else appears to be more patient than I am.
I can understand if it's a credit card fraud and transactions are stopped but when I've logged in via computer with all the security passwords, passcodes, etc then double security with codes via mobile phone, etc and then the transaction is still halted. Twice! Hmmm, not impressed
If you want to be impressed by a bank, usually a £100,000 balance at their private division gets you that. Us minions have to put up with mediocre to poor most the time, sometimes you get a absolute cracker on telephone banking though.
I hear "i'll just look into that" as much as "is there anything else I can help you with" the former means they are not sure as they were not fully trained in/to deal your enquiry.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -
So transfers internal between LBG companies got halted?
Tesco isn't a LBG company?
No but your first flag was a LBG company which is very strange given its inhouse to the group to your own account.
Probably didn't like your threat and the operator put full security on...its a possibility.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -

OK interesting... BoS Vantage called up the red flag - maybe. Is TSB part of LBG? I have two accounts there but I guess £2K twice was a smaller amount. So they didn't flag it up.
Ha ha! I should learn to control my temper, keep calm and stay polite!:o0 -

It was, it still shares LBG computer system but it is now owned by a Spanish bank recently and obviously the maximum LBG security or LBG internal group transfers markers will probably be low now, but yes it could be the lower amounts, or both.
Yes, but banks should learn to answer fraud lines in good time. Abbey was a nightmare, call between 10-4pm to lift the card bar, yes when I am in bed in another time zone! And when I did...same as you 1hour+ waits!
Thankfully 2 years later they actually implemented a system that they could tick the country the card was in and every other transaction did not bar use, up until then I ended up taking £300 out at a time and abandoned chip and pin use.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... Thanks xylophone - i've been with lloyds for 6 years. They used to call me everytime I transferred money and asked if it was me. They seem to have stepped up their game! And yes, I have seen the dividend tax change for next year - thanks
Cheesetoast - I went into branch to open my account 6 years ago - they would've checked my ID then.
Mable - I think I got irate because it took me 67 minutes to get through to their fraud team. I will move on - see the branch manager tomorrow, keep calm, ask him why. If he has a reasonable answer, then fair enough. Whatever he says, I think I'll be switching to Santander
Good luck with that, they are even worse.0 -

Well, any other suggestions? At least I can leave £20K in there and get 3%.0 -
The OP has the same problem I did...waiting times to a fraud dept whilst trying to do things with their own money, I am making him aware he is not alone. Again my experience with Abbey is something you are not in a position to contest to be 'nonsense' due to Data Protection Act even if you are a current Santander employee with access to my old closed accounts.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... Santander are alot better than when they were UK owned in my experience. They (Abbey) were a complete nightmare back then with offshore telephone banking who had minimal training. Telephone banking got pulled onshore but not sure about now in he last few years.
One of my major issues with the chip and pin barring & fraud team contact thing was they could only give me a 0845/0870 contact number onshore or offshore and they could not transfer you and well when you are abroad and cant dial a local national rate number...I had to email a complaint to the CEO office to get help, they lifted the bar first time and had to give me a 01 number.
Left in 2008, care seemed to be better in 2011, I left when they tripled my monthly overdraft charge in one year. I think it was my Everyday Current Account.
You can only try and leave if needs be.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0
