  • An update.

My son completed his first 5 hours and was getting on very well.
I have now paid £160 for 10 hours, and have received another lot of vouchers, which I have purchased for our second son who will be 17 at Christmas. The company and instructor are both fine about this.

Ps. We are in the ME postcode area which still has the offer listed.

  • If they are paying the instructors a good rate for the lessons then I apologise - this is not normal, usually the instructor has to take the hit.

What did you end up doing in your situation? I have a feeling I'll be in the same situation, except that I think I used a credit card so that I can dispute the charge if they give me any trouble.

Funny the offer is now 5 lessons for £49.

It's also against the law if they took your order and drew money and didn't provide you the service. This obviously wasn't a price mistake, they just pulled the offer after the fact due to "high demand". So, obviously they were the ones who pulled out of the offer after taking money.
  • Inactive you talk dribble and should get your facts right before you open your mouth. Are you a worried ADI concerned about competion?
  • It is a limited offer promoting Surepass in an area where they are new to a city/town. There is a high demand due to their reputation and they are also changing their database system, so could be the reason for the delay. Usually nothing a phonecall cant fix.

Hmmm, never heard of a special offer reducing prices to the bone because they are so popular.

This is a special offer, normally used when an ADI is newly qualified and taken up the franchise. It is designed to pull customers in quickly when they have been unable to supply the numbers of learners they have promised.

If they were that popular due to a high reputation the last thing they would need to do is make an offer like this.

Surepass take the hit on prices, not the instructor, but they do try to keep prices down which hurts other ADI's in the area.

And the old......we are changing our database, victims of our own success ploy..............like it.

I am not an ADI, I don't talk as much " dribble " as you talk, do you work for SurePass.???

I assume you mean competition not " competion "..
  • My son has now had 17 hours which started with this offer.
He has his theory test next week, and has been told to put straight in for his test. He is getting on well, and his instructor qualified many years ago. They are however new to this area and trying to build up business. We are happy with everything so far.
It now costs £160 for 10 hours, or £17.50 per hour. This is a fair bit cheaper than other local instructors.

i would seriously avoid these idiots!
they took my money, accepted my order then denied they got the money, said no instructors in my area. they were rude and very unprofessional too.
