this will be instructor dependent as just like surestart all instructors are self employed and work under the banner of BSM, AA, Surestart etc
£19.50 expensive like Sam Spade said try and use a taxi for an hour? and an instructor is a professional, how much are school teachers on per hour? and they are not putting their life in a novices hands
how much do people spend on a night out? learning to drive isnt really that expensive when put into proper context as to what is given and what you get from it long term, i.e freedom to go wherever, whenever you like, its a short term expense that lasts forever (unless banned, but the skill learned is still there)0 -

While i agree that you need fully qualified instructors.

Indeed, anybody asked how much lesson number 6 is???
Also if the Instructor is fully qualified, or a trainee?
Driving is life skill, why would anyone want to cut corners on something this important beats me.
According to their web site, single lessons are about £20.
Until it's known that corners are being cut, rather than it just being an introductory offer with the same cars and drivers, it seems premature to make assumptions.0 -

It is too late to find out the hard way, any Driving School worth their salt do not need to fall to these shabby tactics to attract custom, even at £20 an hour they are not going to cover the cost of paying the salary of a qualified instructor, car and running costs, that is assuming the instructor/s are qualified, and not trainee's, which is more likely.
I cannot find any T&C's on the site to verify exactly what is provided.0 -
This sounds like a very good offer. Even if you're not satisfied with the instructor you get you've only spent £25 and surely you'll get at least something out of 5 hours lessons.
I don't know if there's some rules or regulations that stops you from then using BSM or another company after that, but if that's not the case you've only wasted the price of 2 CD's.0 -
When I put in my postcode for lesson pricing I getFantastic news, we have Instructors in your area, the lesson price is from £-1.5 per hour
However, when I go to the Gift page, the postcode search says "Sorry this area isn't covered yet"."Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0 -
