£5 for 5 sounds cool, but where is the terms and conditions ? I always like to read them with my glasses on ;)

You get sent five vouchers for a 1 hour lesson. You then ring up and book your lessons accordingly.

    How is this cutting corners?

Did you ask if the Instructor was qualified or a Trainee?

Would you work for an hour and provide a car and fuel for a fiver an hour??

A good Driving School does not need to use these tactics to attract business.

    Still it's your choice.

Yes it is a trained instructor.

Its a promotion to get more business. Strangely enough many other companies do this sort of thing too.

I didn't ask if the Instructor was " trained " I asked if he or she was qualified, many cheaper offers are with instructors that are still undergoing training, but not fully DSA qualified.
  • Thanks for that OP!!

I think it sounds great, driving lessons are so expensive and driving would make my life a million times easier!!

    I have just ordered!

Driving lessons expensive? Have you ever been in a taxi? Ever called out a plumber, electrician, locksmith?

The Website has a 'Quantity' field,
Does this mean you can book 4 x 5 (20 Lessons) for £100?

£19.50 per hour for driving lessons ? That's insane !

I've just recently passed my theory test (1st time 35/35 \o/) and I'm now looking at driving instructors and a lot of them seem to be doing only 2 hour blocks at £52 a time.
  • im having them im on lesson number 4 there are great ive leaned soooo much. i was with bsm befor i had 10 lessons with them they are not a patch on surestart
