Irritating adverts

We've all got our favourite annoying ad/s. My current one is the stupid one with the whistling Leyland paint man which sponsors ITV4. There I am enjoying watching the snooker only for my tranquility to be interrupted by a tuneless bloody whistling noise.

That simpering Audrey Hepburn copy for Galaxy is my most hated.

I hate any with whispering, like the Secret Escapes ones - there's a more recent one (can't remember what for) with clicking fingers which is highly irritating too. Also the charity ads on Sky News in particular which all seem to try and outdo each other to be the most heart rending.

All adverts annoy me. Thank goodness for Adblocker on my broweser (gave up watching TT years ago)

They dont make them like they used to. Catchy and enjoyable. I often wonder why some companies dont recycle their old adverts, would certainly be a talking point.

Most programmes that I want to watch on commercial TV I record now, then skip over the ads. Keeps my blood pressure down as some ads are absolutely horrible. I think one of the very worst is that vile Keith Lemon - the moment his face appears I switch over.

If I accidentally catch an ad which annoys me, then it simply encourages me to shop with the opposition.
