    Sadly then you arrived.

I was here from the start, a second username when I could not reset the original...

The bigger Martin got the bigger the site users got, the more the unofficial mods got moody about their unofficial forum status.

All this negative behaviour towards started me over a 1.1% TSB Save The Change account I CHOSE to use then send to 6% RS and I was a idiot in doing such....and then several started following me round threads trying to discredit myself where I post, click my user name and posts if you want the proof Archi...

All because a financially poor disabled person who struggles to work part time banks 78% of his income in savings to buy a house to build a better life ongoing, others feel inadequate and start trolling him.

So yes I will defend myself against continued attacks, my body is a war enough with DNA trolling, I came here to maximise my savings not be trolled because I'm doing fantastic at my savings plan.
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)

    For £5!

Easier giving up a pint and bag of chips once a year ;)
you missed the fact that it's £5 extra on £4500 less, the £4500 can also be deployed to earn at least another £135.

Fantasy superiority over others, I second that motion to the OP.

Judging by your posts in this and other threads, you suffer a lot from that.

I suffer non mental disabilities and some would say over confidence (what does not kill you makes you (oh so) stronger), confident I can bank 78% income savings a month and live on 2/3 the rate of Jobseekers, even using a 1.1% interest account as a stop gap, why yes, and in practice and not be told otherwise YES #proven #tick

I have let none of my disabilities ever hold me back, why would I faceless internet profiles? I'm so sorry to all the Tory-Osborne generation here you are not winning, just as you didnt win on DLA/PIP.

    #WINNING

Nice to know I'm in your thoughts though Archi Bald

Have a great day ahead :)

(apologies that I have not yet figured out how to multi-quote)
    "5K at 4% LLoyds
    2K at 5% TSB
2.5K at 5% Nationwide (need to confirm this one)
    2 * 3K at 3% Tesco or BOS
    That's 15.5K paying £605 interest per year"

Not only could that £4500 earn more money on its own, but the £600 does not take into account the £60/yr charge on the 123 account, which means a total difference of £195 (although I believe both methods have not factored in tax, assumedly due to the April '16 personal allowance change).

I would however ask whether the 5k @ 4% at Lloyds has been worked out as 4% overall, as it is an incremental scale. It doesn't change the value massively, but enough to be of interest considering we are debating how to maximise interest on the least amount of investment.

And to those who are trolling or arguing on this (and other) threads: please conduct that in a private message, attacking individuals isn't helping the OP find an answer!

Finally, my own two cents on the easiest way to earn £50 interest a month (though not a safe one, I must say):
IFISA (Innovative Finance ISA) with a P2P lender. RateSetter, for example, offer 5.7% over 5yrs. Not safe, but it means just over £10,500 investment would give £50 interest a month.

Interest in club Lloyds is incremental but when you cross a threshold you get that rate on the whole balance
