I am surprised that you cannot understand why the charge has been levied. It's because you have parked on a pavement (along with all the other cars). A wheelchair user or a someone with a pram or pushchair would be forced into the road by your inconsiderate parking.

Probably not - but can't guarantee anything. Issues of patient confidentiality will probably make them pretty sensitive to not passing on information willy-nilly.

You could write it in your mother's name - she was the patient. No one needs to know who was driving - or who owns the car. At this stage CCI have no idea who you are - they just have a VRN for the car. Whether they are able to access keeper data from the DVLA is yet to be seen.

Do not contact CCI at all unless you get anything in the post from them. Come back for further advice if you do.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Nigelbb, I understand and appreciate your comments but that path is not used by anyone as people always use the right hand side as that's the entrance and exit. Also the ambulance has another route for entry and exit so please be rest assured that I wasn't blocking emergency vehicles and also, when I parked there were more than 10 vehicles parked before me so I just followed the trend, sounds stupid but when you have a patient who's in an emergency mode then your brain doesn't think much.

But I already told you to complain in the name of the patient.

seems to me that a lot of these trusts are way behind the times and the laws

    like this Ipswich one https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5342379

    and this manchester one https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5321088

clearly not following these guidlines from Jeremy Hunt

    https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/nhs-patient-visitor-and-staff-car-parking-principles/nhs-patient-visitor-and-staff-car-parking-principles

any complaint to PALS from the main patient should also point them at those guidelines, which were drafted in august 2014 and amended in ocober 2015
