Yes. There will be no 'pay packet'. There is no evidence and no signs and the keeper will not be able to be held liable by this mess.

DO NOT APPEAL YET. BUT DO COMPLAIN TO PALS.

Re the actual appeal, wait and see and tell us what the first letter looks like. Keep that PCN as you may have to wait months to resolve this unless PALS cancel it when the patient complains (i.e. you complain but in the patient's name).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Good. Main complaint is the fact it is unfair and there cannot be a 'breach of contract' where there are no contractual terms. In fact the demand is groundless without signs and you could say: 'how dare the NHS do this without any terms and lines/signs being put up first? This is entrapment and an unfair business practice and the PCNs issued must be cancelled or you will consider taking it to the local press'.

Guys, I'm really sorry and please accept my apologies if I sound daft by asking for explaination but can you please explain what is Pals and what does it sound for sorry. I tried searching for it on the net but just get posts mentioning complaining PALS. Also nothing is mentioned in the newbies post.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
