It's definitely got worse since I joined. It's literally every other thread now. Even the most innocuous threads seem to escalate until they get deleted.0

Well i don't know where you're posting so can't comment.
But i'll always comment in a helpful manner. But i'll also call out those who are timewasters/idiots. And i make no apology for that.0 -

I'm a delicate chocolate flower......We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
A bit condescending. You ain't getting compensated this time cupcake....
The end.I was perfectly helpful.
There's no compo to be had here. Pay for a new boiler. End.
Maybe not the end...I'm sorry, i wasn't aware you just wanted responses based on what you want to hear.
Buy a new boiler and stop wasting everyone's time.
Nope, not the end.I've never taken legal advice from an engineer. Novel idea...
The suggestion is you buy a new boiler. Highly useful advice.
I'm pretty sure it's not the end.The OP turned first.
And the question has been answered. No compo and buy a new boiler.
Is anybody listening?Oh stop waffling on. I'll give £100 to your chosen charity if you get proof of any compo from the vendor.
And as you yourself state that's unlikely.
So the advice stands. Buy a new boiler. Nothing clever about that.
Ah - maybe this is the end...Mate, ( i do hope that's gender neutral enough for you ) i can assure you this whole thread has been nothing but light entertainment.
So i repeat. Buy a new boiler. End.
Nope - it wasn't the end! There is no paperwork, there never will be any paperwork. The OP is flying in the wind of a casual question.
And even if there was it doesn't make it enforceable.
So, and i'm now even getting annoyed myself. Buy a new boiler.
Definitely still not the end. It's not lately, it's time immortal...
So as advised. Buy a new boiler. JAFC.
Well, we certainly wouldn't want any timewasters!Well i don't know where you're posting so can't comment.

I have only came across one instance where a buyer made a claim against a previous owner and won
In Scotland a seller warrants the dwelling for 5 working days after completion sale
One lady called me in to change light fittings and had a boiler company service a boiler the day she got the keys
The boiler company found the flue had a hole in it and condemned the boiler there and then
The seller paid a good bit of the bill for a new boiler (no betterment).baldly going on...0 -
Most of my teaching career was in one school, so it was only in the last few years, when doing supply, that I had a chance to see how others operated.
It didn't take long to see a pattern. Those institutions in which everyonewas treated with respect, did well.
Then, there were the 'also rans.....'0 -
The Scottish system is different - there's a (14?) day claim period I believe.baldelectrician wrote: »I have only came across one instance where a buyer made a claim against a previous owner and won
