8 years ago, AW issued quarterly bills. after getting my 1st ever bill from them I realised I was overpaying and adjusted my DD accordingly. Fast forward to now and they only issue yearly bills. Did not realise I was paying almost double what I should have been paying over the last year because of this (had gone back to parents in the interim which is why I didn't know they had started doing this).
Finally received a water bill at the start of March showing I was £220 in credit! paying £39/month instead of the £21/month I calculated it should have been.
Asked them to give my money back. Got it refunded yesterday. It will now go towards paying all my household bills next month
