Well PW's and my initial post were also aimed at the OP. Do you have any advice for the OP?

Oh, if you insist...£733 per person return with stopovers in both Hong Kong for an interesting break, and Perth to visit the relatives. BA, Cathay Pacific and Qantas. In economy of course, which should make you happy :). I'm sure someone can beat that (I could if HKG stopover was removed, but not by much), though I think a reasonable price for an interesting routing.

And to you! Planning our Easter getaway - we're flying EasyJet which I'm sure will send shudders down the spines of some ;)

easyJet is fine with me for flights up to 4 hours, I take about 20 flights a year with them, great airline. No economy for me on anything longer.

Indeed - looks like a good deal.

I'd prefer 12 hours on Singapore to 4 hours on Easyjet any time! Wonder if that's the issue - people think long haul economy is like Easyjet or Ryanair? It really is nothing like. In flight entertainment with hundreds of films to choose from, free food and drink, more legroom, can wonder down to the galley for a chat or to stretch your legs or get another drink, staff under far less pressure to get all the trolley runs done...

I find the likes of Easyjet and Ryanair a bit of a chore to fly - they get you where you want to go cheap and they're brilliant for that - but can't say I really enjoy the flight. Certainly do on Singapore, Qantas, Thai, BA, SAS, in fact all the long haul airlines I've ever flown on. Well, apart from a charter we got to Florida many years ago - that was a bit like Ryanair for 8 hours!

Well, you've had a few suggestions, perhaps at this point it would be helpful if you gave some feedback on what's been suggested, and some guidance on your thinking, e.g budget, stopover destinations you might prefer, willingness to do extra connections etc. It will be easier for people to help you with a bit more info.
