Chuggers - when will charities ever learn!!!!

Now I feel like, they just want to exploit timid people. I don't understand why they even ask people who don't earn money yet.
Students are the second best target for chuggers next to the elderly. The fact that they aren't earning is not an issue, they obviously have enough to be getting by while doing their degree, either from student loans or parents, ergo they have enough to sign up for a Direct Debit. Plus students are young, naïve, unlikely to be keeping a close eye on their finances, and more susceptible to being chatted up by an attractive-looking person in the street.
Bristol seems to have got a grip on chuggers lately, but some months ago you always had to dodge a few when you went down the Clifton Triangle, the main student shopping area.0 -
I'm not sure if new rules came in or if I'm just getting older but I don't find them as annoying as I used to. I've had them jump in my way before, been physically grabbed, had my hand held and been followed for a few hundred metres. All of these were young attractive women so I'm guessing they generally target the men as they feel it'll generate more sales.0
